Off again in April

I've managed to get a group together again to head out in April for my birthday. Going out 2 days before on the 14th for 4 nights and hoping for some sunny weather. I've been twice at this time of year, once it was 3 days of sun sun sun and the second time it idn't stop raining.
Staying in the Damrak Inn this time, would have liked to go back to the bulldog as it's a good hotel at a cheap price but it was all bookd up by the time I convinced my mates. Anyone been there before? Only bad reviews I've seen say the stairs are steep (seems that way everywhere in the dam and I'm young enough) and it smells of cannabis smoke which is rather a plus really.

Fuckin hell Andy, sounds like a right shithole your staying in!! I would struggle to cope with that constant smell of cannabis, as for the stairs, what you gonna do
I stayed at the Hotel Mevlana last week for a couple of nights and it was superb. Only 40E a night, 4 rooms to a shower, dead clean and a kebab house downstairs. Don't know bout you but for me this covered most bases. Oh yeah it was 150 yards away from Grey Area as well, happy days!!
Your hotel in dam is really somewhere to chuck your stuff and crash out. Personally I am that stoned whenever I get back to my pad that I could sleep in the gutter and get a good 8 hrs.
You will have a ball in Damrak. Live the life!!
