51 days and counting....

So its only 51 days until we start our great journey to Amsterdam. I have been counting down since 121 so we are technically more then half way there!

We'll be staying in the Jordaan, in citymundo apartment 1551. Has anyone stayed in this apartment before? This is my third trip, but I have never stayed in this part of town.

I am hoping Pink Floyd will be open if they are remodeling, or at least finished by that time. I never did manage to make it to this shop, but I have read some fantastic reviews, and its on the top of my list of CS's to visit.

We'll also be heading to Haarlem for a day or two, and can't wait to hit up Wortals and sample some of Haarlem's finest.

Sly know nothing about CityMundo, but most of de Jordaan is gorgeous. Try the chocolate chip cookies at Paradox. Siberie, at Brouwersgracht 11, is my home away from home; it's usually my first stop and I smoke whatever Haze they recommend, or whatever costs the most.

Pink Floyd/UmmaGumma is now owned by Dampkring/Tweede Kamer. My experience with these guys (especially in 2e Kamer) is that when I ask what is the best sativa, the true best is about the fourth (or last) choice they offer me. Just keep asking, "What else do you have?" Never take the first two choices they offer--it is my belief that they try keep the good stuff away from the tourists

In Haarlem, you might also want to check out the smaller Theehuis coffeeshop.

We are planning on hitting up the Theehuis while in Haarlem. I have been before, and really love the cute little shop. I have always had fantastic luck with the staff there as well. Hopefully it will be the same this time.

I'm at 31 days and counting now, and its almost too much to bear!
