I've been searching the internet high and low looking for the best deals for christmas and apart from 1 or 2 hotels if you deal with them direct I find the link on here (bookings.nl) to be one of the cheapest.

My experience is that the only way to beat the prices you can get right here (via bookings.nl) is to use Priceline.

I agree with weedman, Boner and Billy. We used Bookings on our last trip for the Golden Tulip in Heiloo, and it was excellent. Used them again for my trip in April at the Uptown Hotel/Rookies. I think it gives over 250 Hotels in the Amsterdam area alone. Has pictures, map and reviews from customers. Great site. AzLaker

Some of these sites have hotels that the others don't. All are similar though with bookings being my favorite.

The best thing about the bookings.nl and easytobook.com sites is that you do not actually pay any money for the cost of your stay until you actually arrive at the hotel.
This gives you extra time to save up the necessary money, and you can also cancel your booking without charge on these sites if you find a better deal somewhere else.
I have a "booking" in place at Rookies/Uptown Hotel for next year's 4/20. 75 Euros per night is just too good to turn down.

They're all pretty much the same but Bookings is particularly good and if you use this link you help support ACD:
http://www.booking.com/country/nl.html?aid=200156
It's exactly the same as Bookings.com but when you use this version a small commission is paid to ACD.

I am very happy with the deal that I got through booking.nl 2 nights in Rookies for €90 including taxes etc. The only problem I had was getting an email from them confirming the booking but a simple email to them that night and it got sorted out.
Glad that this sight got some commission from my booking as well so I will use them again
