New coffeeshop in Amsterdam

Well, new to me anyway.

OK, it's only a Bulldog and it's in a very obscure location out in Westpoort but it's still exciting to be able to add a new shop to the database rather than just marking shops as closed.

There is a large nightclub complex there a short distance from the Isolatorweg Metro stop, on Isolatorweg. It's called the Warehouse. Not sure how easy it is to get from the Warehouse to the Bulldog, though.

Well I hope to check it out in the near future. Some of those places have the good gear right near the docks, I'll let you know .

It's a ridiculous location but it is a new coffeeshop and that's exciting to me. I can't remember when I last added a new coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Very occasionally I hear about shops I was missing in the provinces but not Amsterdam.

I like this thread, new shops get me excited as well and with the new "tourist transportation pass" exploring them will be easier

Interesting, I see the Bulldog port 26 is just open 8am to 6pm weekdays and later on Sat & sun.

I dunno.... when i'm there I want to be in public... i want a good vibe there... people to chat with etc.

Nice location to unload your stock straight off the boat crazy location if you look on street view, funny

People do live and work out there, it's to serve the dockers and seafarers who may not have the time or inclination to go into town. A lot of the container ships often have a 6 hr turnaround, and you might have to work. Believe me these places are lifesavers if you only got an hours lunch break to stock up.
I think I will make it a mission to visit this and the other one, I was planning to get a hotel at Halfweg, (literally half way, between Dam and Harlem).
