I'll be in Amsterdam for the first time starting June 17th. I smoke the occasional joint, but really prefer the bong to every other method.

My real question is, would it be worth it to buy a small personal bong to take along when I do my crawl?

I'll be hitting a lot of shops on the trip and I want to smoke a clean bong for as much of it as possible.

I'm not interested in renting and money isn't really an issue. Will coffeeshops let me bring a bong in with me?

ive seen people do it all the time,, also most shops have bongs/vaperizors/pipes/freepapers for your to use.

Yes you can take your own bongs in. Most if not all shops will be totally fine with that. If you carry a little bottle of water around with you - you won't even have to bother the CS staff to fill it up for you.(Top tips courtesy of the DeleuksteNUGS16 Good Bong Guide)

There are loads of bong shops in town. Head down Haringpakkerssteeg at the northern end of Damrak just opposite central station. You'll pass Coffeeshop Prix D'ami on the left and at the end of the alley where the street widens out, you'll find a good few bongs shops. Do a bit of haggling and you'll easily get 10-15% off the ticket price.

Grace Glass are a local Amsterdam bong company - some of their rigs are decent value and have great function; on the downside the glass is a bit thin the most part. But - they will do nicely for a decent travel rig. I have a couple that I use all the time.

In fact they're going with me next week - so we'll see how customs like that!
*edit*I'm also planning to take a little bottle for carrying ISO around with me (Deleuks can you help facilitate this please? ) I also want to smoke a clean bong all day. Those coffeeshop bongs are filthy for the most part. Excuse my lowering the tone - but there are cleaner holes in the RLD

Thanks for the replies. I'm convinced buying a personal bong for the week is the way to go.

Thin glass is fine for the time, just want it to be clean. Prix da Ami is 5 minutes from my hotel by foot. I'll check the head shops out for sure.

Might as well buy a nail attachment too. I want to dab full melts if I find some I like the look of
