Re: hitting dam hard
Welcome to the forum.
What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page. Scroll down to your month and click it.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.
Enjoy

You have been posted on the August Whos In Town page. Scroll down to your month and click it.
Scroll down to your month and click it.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.
I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.
Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
Enjoy

Re: hitting dam hard
9-10 AM is typical opening time for most coffeeshops in and around the Amsterdam centrum - with some falling within the unfortunate confines of zoning laws, opening much later (e.g. De Graal opens at 6 PM, as does Utopia).
As far as early opening shops your safest bets are Boerejongens or 1e Hulp both open bright and early at 7 AM, both of which are decent shops and should be on your list regardless of the convenient early opening times. Beware though if you're Euro (style smoker, because we already know you voted out of that shit politically
:p) that Boerejongens (the one in the center) is the only shops in Dam that fully enforces the no tobacco smoking law, so you can literally only consume pure there...
Oh also the Stud is open at 7, but is a little bit of a trek eastwards...

Re: hitting dam hard
You should look into Solo Coffeeshop, about a 2 minute walk from Green Place and Bluebird. Nice haze strains, situated in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. Has a real Dutch feel to it in there and they always have the football on! I'll be over from 30th July - 2nd Aug
