I see you are going to the tourist coffee shops.I usually start at hill st blues at the market (the greenhouse effect) then go to ricks bar for a beer at ricks bar to people watch. Apart from the 1st hull all the others are as much of a muchness. So many coffee shops have closed now. I will be in dam on the 3rd/4the of august of with my wife so if you are at ricks coffee shop or bar we will be there from 7pm onwards...have a nice time.
