Quick visit to the Dam 23-25 august

Post by mamat »

Hi everybody !
Not very active on this forum to say the least, but always having a great time reading travelogues and reports from OHMF, DLN16, Pengaldinho, Marok21, CopenhagenCouple etc
Really inspiring stuff :D
I'll be staying @ Voyagers so I plan to spend a few hours in the evening @ Batavia. I would like to set a T&T @ De Graal on the 24th at 6pm. Can you post it please FBN ? Hope I'll have a chance to meet some ACDers ;)
I also need some advice. I plan to head to Haarlem for some jelly hash around 6pm on my day of arrival. Is it a good time to grab some of that goodness ?
Hope you are all having a great time.

You and your T&T posted.

Most Haarlem shops will be open.
If Birdy is out of jelly hash give WW Indica a try they will often have it.

That late in the day you may want to consider a meal here.

Apart from Birdy, I also plan to give these places a go : WW in Haarlem, Dampkring near La Grotte (brekkie set up on the 24th :D), Utopia, Eerste Hulp, maybe Paradox for some Wash (worth it ?), De Graal and of course Voyagers since I am staying there.
I love hazes and the taste of diesel. Can someone recommend good strains/cs ?
Also I would like to know if Siberie is worth a visit.
Thanks for sharing !

I second the ECSD from Eerste Hulp, but then I'm never in the Dam long enough to sample other diesels and compare, alas. Yesterday for the second time it was my first smoke after arriving at chickenyawn, and it was as tasty as the first. Though I also tried the Nicole Bubble Hash as well, which has made me revise my opinions both of the shop's hash in general (had a bad experience with their alleged Nepal Temple Ball, once bitten twice shy) and of premium hash, because I've rarely sampled any I consider worth it. It's certainly worth €16; if it were €20, I still might indulge occasionally on the overpriced-but-worth-it paradox spectrum.

Paradox's Wash doesn't quite deliver the bang for me, though it does for some. Most people love the place; I value the atmosphere, but don't think the product is as good as some would have it, though it's certainly better than many. And they do €5 deals (though not on the Wash) that mean you can sample without commitment, until you decide you like something.

Ok, definitely gonna sample that ECSD ^^
As my to do list has evolved quite a bit, I think I'm gonna skip Paradox, considering your advice on wash Fat_old_dwarf. And as I plan to hit Birdy, Boer west, Bij and maybe Massawa, the hash part should be covered already ;)

Very solid plans here in general, looks like you have quite a trip ahead of you! :)

Don't miss Tangie @ eerste hulp, one of the best tasting and most potent greens we had there! Caboose hash from eerste was also very good, very strong tasting, but verynnice and smooth also...

We suggest checking out easy times, some great hazes and diesel crosses, the strawberry haze we had from here tasted awesome, had great flush and cure and nice upliftin effects! Hash menu here is super solid also, but off course not as impressive, well priced nor varied as Boer (gold berry block for uplifting tasteful bliss and white choc block for best priced kick in the face was our top picks)!
