As the title says, at which coffeeshop do you get the most value out of your money.
Vareity of strains do not matter, location around dam and not too far from there.
Haarlem would still be an okay distance to travel from the dam.
Thanks

€30 for 5g of King Hassan from either Dampkring2 or Tweede Kamer. Nice hash at good price.

Try Birdy or WW Indica for the jelly hash.

1eHulp has white widow for €8 a gram mate. I've never tried it myself but worth a punt at that price if it's that strain you're specifically after.
Edit: Also Voyagers have Amnesia at about €9 euros a gram, good first stop after getting off the train at Central station aswell. They always have a nice menu that's forever changing.
I've mentioned cheaper options because you mentioned bang for buck dude. White widow and amnesia always seem to be on the lower price spectrum of most menus anyhoo. Good luck on your hunt

Boerejongens and affiliated shops and it's not even close, especially given the variety of products which are good value

But I'll definitely try your recommendations.

To each his own we guess, but in our (at times not so) humble opinions one of the main attractions of the shops is the possibility of getting weed and hash that is either not available back home or is of a superior quality. Going to AMS for a good bargain will seldom work out for you, especially in the center of the city. Of course YYMV, depending on where you live you may get not comparable prices, but reports from many forum members indicate, that from a pure price stand point weed and hash are readily available at competitive prices.
If WW and Amnesia Haze are your absolute favorite strains hands down, by all means seek out good batches and examples of these (hunting for a good version of a specific strain or hash is one of our favorites sports in the dam). On the other hand, if you were “just” looking for good value and opted for these strains because they tend to be very well priced we would advice you to broaden your horizons a bit while in the dam. Take advantage of the fact that there are quite literally hundreds and hundreds of options at a reasonable price range beyond the (very classic, but also sometimes a little boring) WW and generic amnesia hazes. Trust us here, you will get as good a value for money THC and CBD wise if you go to the right places buying varied and interesting strains from the good valued shops.
Several options have been mentioned (good ones, although Central is in our opinions really a budget place and more miss than hit), but from the two weeks we just visited we have to go with DLN and say Boerejoegens chain hands down has the best and largest selection at reasonable prices. The menu will feature several sativas and indicas at 10 E or less and everything we tried (AllegriaCookies, SuperMazing another GSC cross, some high powered indica and several other weeds, along with most of their ever changing block hash menu) was the bomb at the price!
In our point of view you have already splurged on the trip there, so why not get value for your money and try different, new and exciting things, things that will take years and years to reach the markets at home, if they ever do! You will discover that a lot of the mid to low priced offerings at good shops gives you at least the bang for the buck you get buying WW and generic amn hazes.
Have fun, live life, try new things, and get high as fuck on all the yummy strains and hashes out there!
If you really just wanna get stoned as fuck get the White Choco block from Boer (a freaking steal at 8,5 E) and sprinkle a third to half of a g into a good sized weed joint; unless you are a really, really heavy smoker we guarantee that you will be impressed and probably on your ass slurping recovery looza for a good fifteen. Block hashes in general, and especially stuff of this quality and power, are a new thing since we last visited and comes with our highest of recommendations, even for those of you who are 100 % weed heads!
In any case we hope you have a great and awesome trip!

P.s. have you tried the many crosses and later generations of the white strains and amnesia lines that have emerged, there are some spectacular smokes to be found?

Oh, and BTW, there are a couple of mechanisms / tricks from restaurants and dinning that might be good to be aware of also when shopping for smokeables: When selecting a bottle of wine at a restaurant most people know not to go for the cheapest one, but the second or third cheapest, if they are looking for good value. The reason being that the restaurant almost always pays more for these wines relative to the price they are selling them for. As a rule of thumb (at least in the regions we draw upon for reference) a restaurant will pay less than a third of the price on the menu for the cheapest wine on the list, but up to and even above half of the price for the second or third cheapest. This means more wine for the money for you. This, consequently, also means that more of your money are going to the people who actually have the most influence on the quality of your product. A similar mechanism can be found in many bars and discos where the cheapest beer (on tab or bottled) is only good for one thing (getting shitfaced) and is in reality severely overpriced compared to some of the better beers at slightly higher cost.
Without as intimate an insight into the inner workings of the coffeeshop business as we have in the restaurant and bar business (although almost 15 years visiting the dam and talking to many a man and woman in the business has given us some knowledge), we can’t say for sure, but suspect that the same mechanisms (if not the exact ratios) are somewhat at play here.
One thing we are quite sure about though is that there is a big difference in how much the coffeeshops pay the growers, and we have heard from several independent local sources (although only on a hearsay basis) that the Boerejoengens chain pays growers above average. This alone, if true, motivates us to support this chain, but there are many other nice things about Boer. Another is that they sell grinders, little green bags and other rolling and smoking gear at very reasonable prices (WTF is up with paying 2,5 E+ for a pack of rolling papers some places?). A little green bag, which is a nifty little thing that seals about four-five packs of 1-ish grams of weed nicely in an almost smelly proof compartment and has strips of glue on the front where you can attach a pack of papers and a pack of filters (they are also included), is only 1,5 E!

Thank you very much for your post, and you have somewhat enlightened me to think differently =).
My main point was that the weed need'nt have a fancy name and big price tag.
And no I'm not traveling there solely because of the weed, so we would'nt spend a whole day "hunting" for the best coffeshop.
I'm travelling with a group of friends and none of us have a extremely high tolerance so that is no concern for us.
My main reason for posting was that I don't know much about the city and thus don't know which places are a rip off.
None of us have tried ww or amnezia so that was more like a starting point.
Once again thank you very much for your post and I'll definitely try out your recommendations =)

Our pleasure!
And we understand better now, in your case we bet that anything in the 8-12 € range from Boerjoegens, 1e Hulp, Easy Times, De Graal, Utopia, Green Place or Voyagers (pretty much in that order for us

) will do you very nicely, and all these places have great service and will most likely be mroe than happy to guide you to the weed of your liking, and the next, and the next...
Have a great trip and good tokes!
