Mr Incognito's January Excursion 13-15 Jan

Post by Mr Incognito »

Just booked myself a weekend in town, 13-15 Jan.

Staying down in de Pijp, and planning to sample the hashes of some of the local off-the-beaten-track coffeeshops like Los Angeles, The Point, Happy Days, Topweazel, etc. Last time out (didn't get as far as writing it up though), I got some fine hashes around the EUR10 mark from some of the further flung shops.

Not a lot of reviews on ACD of these shops, and I don't suppose their weed would be particularly great, but I reckon some of these local-facing shops have the best traditional hash around, and that's what I'm after!

Season's Greetings!

Good idea, Mr.Incognito! Few years ago been to Los Angeles myself as Courtjester on here reviewed it. Thought of going back at some point, especially since De Graal is gonna be closed soon. Basic place as often but enjoyed moroccan hospitality with their best traditional Twisla(sp, 9€/g)there and washed it down with a couple of adequate mint teas. Locals were also friendly.

Sure you'll probably find what your looking for at the neighborhood shops even though nothing extraordinary with fancy names aimed at tourists but solid quality  !
Also visiting new shops is often exciting. Enjoy and report back if you like!

Whoop-de-whoo this time next week I will be in the promised land......

As well as the hashes, I'll be on the lookout for outdoor weed - YoYo did me well last time, but was upstaged by what I got a few weeks later in the now-defunct Pusher Street, Christiania. This time around, I'll give YoYo another try and also plan to go to Mr K and La Tertulia. Any other suggestions?

Cheers!

Ah - I was there in a August, just before the shooting that led to the stalls going. Is it back to its former glory? If so, hooray!
