The best edibles in Amsterdam?

Hi!

I solely intake cannabis in the edible form since a couple of years due to my throat not liking to smoke or vape anymore.

My tolerance is quite high, and the last time I went to Amsterdam the "super potent 1 gram weed brownie" hardly even tickled me. And I'm going back quite soon.

Which Coffeeshops has the most potent edibles in Amsterdam?

That question gets asked a lot, and there's a lot of opinions on it. But the one you'll find the most-and my own personal experience agrees-is that Paradox has the goods when it comes to edibles. Had a decent brownie from Kadinsky once, but overall the rest of the shops seem to be hit or miss. But Paradox has never failed to come through for me!

I'd say don't go for coffeeshop edibles cause they're crap and overpriced as fuck, especially in the center. Check out golden green bakery and get in touch with them.

Wow, mouthwatering indeed!

Now how to get in touch within a couple of days? Google didn't get me far :(

Make your own firecrackers, guaranteed to be as potent as you're willing to make it

While DeLekkersteNUGS16's suggestion is a good one when you are at home and in control of your baking environment, it won't do you much good on the road. Should you decide to follow 16's suggestion, here's a good place to start: https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/v ... =9&t=33136

Like you Google didn't help me much or I would have helped you more.

No guarantees, but I'm thinking that a visit to Cannabis College might be of help as there is some kind of connection. The college was one of the sponsors for the Elite Cup where Golden Green Bakery took third place in the edibles competition. Also that's where Ryan of GGB's photo was taken.

My experience with edibles in Amsterdam is underwhelming... I found the ones at Paradox were pretty tame.

However, my wife who has NO tolerance got her ass kicked by half a muffin at Utopia. I ate the other half, nothing happened. Another time she had half a muffin from 420 Cafe and had a good time, I ate the other half, and nothing.

I would bet that eating more than one for someone like me may get you there... but be careful, because it's easy to go from not feeling it to being completely fucked up, and there's no going back.

The only place I've ever been that has had extremely strong edibles was Negril, Jamaica. A tiny cookie had me high as fuck all day. I haven't been out to Cali or Colorado, so can't compare... but the edibles found in Amsterdam coffeeshops aren't worth the money.

I make my own brownies at home, and eat them very regularly and they are quite potent. But I can't really bring them with me to Amsterdam and I'll be staying at a hotel so I won't have access to a kitchen sadly.

Thanks man, that is actually a great idea regardless! Will definitely make a visit to the College. I've never been there even though I've been to Amsterdam at least 5 times now.
Will see if I can ask some questions about Golden Green Bakery there. Since I medicate with edibles it is very interesting to me to learn more about this even if I can't get ahold of their goods :)

That doesn't sound very promising, since Paradox is the one that's supposed to be good...
I don't really have an option though, since my throat won't really tolerate me to smoke anything anymore. I guess I'll have to go for two like you said!

Another path:

Google

#GoldenGreenInfused

It provides multiple potential solutions.

Thanks a lot man, I think I'm getting it now :) You can remove your message if you'd like to help them with their secrecy.

I've chosen not to remove the message. I'm thinking that, if I can go down the path, others can too as it mostly requires persistence.

Hope it works out! I have one other very long shot path, but it's based on a strange result from Google maps. I'll be in Amsterdam sometime in 2017 so any and all reconnaissance is of value and appreciated!

Yesterday I had a Space Cake from Paradox and it was very easy to eat and quite small, but the effect wasn't strong enough and didn't last very long. It did get me a little bit stoned, but I think 2 are more appropriate.

Perhaps they don't use the highest grade weed when making the space cakes and thus the effect doesn't last very long (the ones I make myself last for 6+ hours).

Today I hope to find something better, otherwise I'll use double or triple the dose and we'll see!

Paradox Pound cakes are probably as good as you will find about the coffeeshops, they are well reviewed here and i personally eat 2 or 3 a day when i'm there. I have also experience of Golden Green Bakery product, specifically the 250mg chocolate bars : I was completely underwhelmed by same after consuming 21 squares of it the first day ! ( Apologies there Papi - i don't rate that stuff at all and would eat 3 Paradox cakes rather than another bar of that ! - for similar money )

I don't really rate either, I've always had to eat a lot of either to get blasted. I much prefer t' Grasje in Utrecht for their Space Cakes, also cheaper at 5 a pop! Anyway, I'll still typically eat 1.5-2 pieces, but have gotten wrecked off as little as a half-cake, so I think either the batches or my tolerance tends to vary - nontheless they're still stronger than either Paradox or TGGT imho!
