candy flipping
is that E and shrooms??
i ask cause i always hear that term used for an E + LSD experience (had one very very very intense 'flip' myself and swore never to do it again...it was too good).

Post by dnaproductions »

During my 4 night stay recently, i had some Mexicans and to be honest, they were not very good! 6 of us had the Mexicans and 3 of us said they were crap compared to the effect from english shrooms. I am visiting again in Feb 2007 i will be partaking in some heavy shit then i will let you know lol

I've done mexican's a number of times back in the UK, we always boiled them and made tea, which always did the trick, but that's not really an option in Amsterdam.
So we ate them with a NY pizza, and well.. who honestly likes eating raw mushrooms??, it was a real struggle getting them down, but we did have a pretty funny trip.
The next day we went to a different headshop and decided for something stronger, Hawaiian it is then!!
This time we asked if they had them dried, they did, and the owner even offered to grind them down for us.GREAT.
I would recommend dried mushrooms to anyone who doesn't fancy eating them fresh. Again I had them on a slice of pizza and they were virtually tasteless and me and my three mates had a fucking awesome trip, cracking up for hours, I did get the churning stomach by the end, but it was great, definitley doing them on my next trip in December.

i plan on doing a couple grams this 4/20/07.

i heard that dried constitutes processed shrooms - isn't that illegal in amsterdam? i thought only fresh fungi and cacti are legal, not dried or processed.

either way, i ate dried before, they taste bland with a bitter taste, i ate with toast and days after toast reminded me of shrooms..and the horrible taste..

havent ever ate fresh ones though..

ALWAYS SMOKE when you trip.. it gets rid of the anxiousness and smooths it out, and sometimes can ease any stomach discomfort. though you will still probably shit at least once, maybe vomit. never vomited...shit my brains out once though.

that's true it's illigal for smartshops to shell dried shrooms but most smartshops still do, i'm not sure about cacti

I tried Amazonian From Magic Mushroom 2 mths ago and they do really trip hard but you will have the E feeling, strong euphoric feeling but you need lots of positive vibes cos once your mind drifted into something negative you will have to drag it back otherwise you're kinda stuck there..

Enjoy it! highly recommended! BTW i only took half the box fresh.!

For me mushrooms are an intergral part of the Amsterdam experience. I've found that most shops are welcoming and more than happy to offer advice on which type will best fit the experience your after. Personally i love the confusion from philosophers stones and the colourful, buzzy feeling from columbians

I feel entirely the other way. I wouldn't consume mushrooms on a visit, in saying that though it does take a fair bit of persuasion to get me doing them at home nowadays. Had about 8 lovely months with Hawaiin about 5 years ago and then knocked it on the head, opting for real acid if hallucinogens are being taken.

Much cleaner feeling, at least on the grey matter... I couldn't imagine anything worse than cutting about a strange city out your head on mushrooms - maybe I just take it too far and eat too many, but a job worth doing is a job worth doing right ;-)

The only place I'd feel comfortable doing that would be in my hotel room and fuck spending a whole night in there, I can do that at home.

see I disagree, I'd much rather a mushroom trip than an acid trip

acid seems to wear on my brain much more and the come down kicks my ass, while with shrooms as long as i have herb near by it's night night time for me

Greetings, been to 'Dam a few times but never taken any shrooms there. Starting to get the old urge though now that it's summer (though the British weather would suggest otherwise). How much do they cost roughly?

Used to get 30g Collumbian for £20 back when they were legal over here, I'm guessing they'll be a bit cheaper in 'Dam seeing as that's where they came from.
