I'm in about the same category as you when it comes to smoking. You should have seen me around DLN, who is like a rocket scientist (compared to me) when it comes to smoking. Tolerance, knowledge, etc. Then you have OHMF, who I've never met, but obviously knows a LOT about marijuana. Willjay is also very knowledgeable, but keeps things very simple. I'm not as smart as those guys, so I have to keep my weed analysis pretty simple.

So here is my simple method to distinguish and perhaps help.

You can purchase the indoor, grow-lamp, high THC varietals from well known places like Barneys, Utopia, Eerste Hulp, Siberie, Greenhouse, Voyagers, et al. It is strong. It is the sort of thing I smoke and then cannot remember the next day how I got from point A to point B, although I read my journals and wrote in complete coherent sentences, or I edited something and the edits were very good, or I look at photos and remember what I was doing. Generally, I was super high, happy, content, and full of energy, but I was super high, poor at verbal communication, and don't recall all of the details.

Then you can purchase outdoor at La Tertulia or Yo-Yo. This weed reminds me of a first time smoker who swears he is not high, but everyone else knows he is high. As this weed relates to me, I know it must be doing something, but I cannot really tell immediately if it is doing something. I mean, I know it is doing something, right??? Surely? Let me hit this again just to be sure. Hmm, better hit it a 3rd time. Oh hell, let me pack another bowl. Well, now that I packed another bowl and smoked it, I don't know if it is affecting me that much, so I might as well order another glass of orange juice. Ohh, maybe some sparkling water instead! Agh, they don't have sparkling water. What did I come to the counter for if not for sparkling water? Hell, I'll go back and write more. Oh, now I recall, orange juice. Hmm, now that I'm sitting, maybe I should add a bit to my journal, or edit this document. But this music is pretty good, so maybe I'll sit here. Oh, I'm high.

That is the difference to me. They both have their place on a daily basis when I visit. The indoor hits me with a bang and diminishes over about 30 minutes. The outdoor sneaks up on me quietly and gently, then stays a bit longer and is more functional for me. I particularly like the Yo-Yo and La Tertulia mixed with good hash!

Experiment with different strengths and do try both. If the weed is really strong, don't be alarmed or concerned. Just stare at a soccer match and relax for 20-30 minutes. It will wear off.

Another excellent reply. I think I'll go to Dampkring after breakfast and try the Lemon Haze or Amnesia. If that's too strong for me then I'll go down to Yo-Yo's and try one of their outdoor sativas. If that's too weak then I'll mix a sativa from Dampkring with Moroccan hash.
