ther verdamper is like a big bong/hookah with a heating element on top of the herb chamber and you just hit it like a bong.......
volcano is the one with the bags, and the bags can obviously be passed around, depending on size you can several big hits out a bag so it can make the rounds in a small circle.

ok
lets say you are in the market for a piece of equipment like one of these, witch would be the best for a person in pain and can not smoke anymore, eating it is not working for me. I've eaten a ton and get more tired is all. I like the volcano and have never heard of the other.
being thankful will change everything

I would only add that it's like inhaling steam. Very lightly-flavoured water vapor. It takes the the unpleasantness entirely out of smoking, but some of the flavor goes too. Absolutely the way to go for your gf.mazdog wrote:Verdamper is INSANELY smooth....
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
ive used a few different vaporizers and own an i-inhale. i love the bag system on the volcano, but everyone i know who owns one, owns a broken one. and for 400 bucks thats a bit too much. the verdamper is a fun piece of equipment. used the light up ones at Baba, pretty nice but i dont like how smooth the hit is. i know that sounds wierd, but if i dont have some sort of throat feel from the toke, i wont believe it worked and either feel let down or smoke way too much.
i would probably invest money in the Extreme, volcano knock off before going volcano, and i hear its a great machine as well. but the volcano is too much money for me.
likewise with the verdamper. and the verdamper is too much of a bitch to use when you get totally high. but for fun i am building my own out of big glass head i have and a gas mask. trying to reverse engineer a heating element is step 1.
so in amsterdam earlier this month i bought an I-inhale. its a ridiculous peice of equipment. about the size of a large cell phone (and looks alot like one), like a fat blackberry. its all self contained, flip a switch, press a button and wait a minute. then you just take drags through the antenna looking bit. you get alot of decent hits out of one fill. easily enough to get 3-4 people high. i usually turn it off before it does the whole bowl and get 2 or 3 rounds out of it. easy to clean. very discreet. i love this thing.

for me smoking a joint is like taking a time-out from the world and i really love being within that lazy time interval from the moment the joint is lit to the very last puff
