420 2007 Part 3

Post by Lemming »

That joint lasted for a while and burned remarkably evenly. A masterpiece! A couple of people have given me permission to display their pictures so here's the lovely Islandgurl and the legendary FlyByNite:

The gf was complaining that all of the coffeeshops we'd been in had uncomfortable seats so, after a really nice pizza, we stopped downstairs at the Dolphins for a while. The padded booths in there must be some of the best in Amsterdam.

From the Dolphins we made our way back to Nes HQ where I got talking to Back2thedam. His accent gave him away as being from my area of England. Here's the joint he rolled:

We ended the night with a party for two in the apartment where there was still some beer left.

On Sunday I had hoped we might get to Haarlem on the way to the airport but, needless to say, we got up too late and only had time for an excursion to Paradox for breakfast and a last joint. Ah well, I suppose we'll have to go back soon and get to Haarlem. Gf is already talking about Queen's Day next year and I think a couple of others are up for that idea.

Thanks to everyone for being great company.

Thanks for the report Lemming, just out of curiosity, where did you get the good pizza? Always on the look out for good food options!

Also, what strains are good at the moment, less than a week til I go now :D

I think the pizza restaurant was on Leidsekruisstraat near the Leidseplein. Can't remember much else about it. Maybe someone else can.

Can't remember much about the strains either. We often mixed the content of various baggies to put in the vaporizer. One of the best deals had to be the generic Haze from Yo-Yo for 5 euros. Neville's Haze from de Kuil is always good and just about everything in Grey Area is wonderful.

Hopefully the rest of the crew will post their travelogues soon. Some were there long before the 420 weekend so may have had the chance to compare buds a bit more scientifically. I'd love to read an account of the Haarlem trip too. Come on you lot...

That park looks beautiful, I'm going to check it out on my next trip fer sure. I've seen some pizza joints heading out of Leidseplein to Dam. I know I've eaten at one of them, just don't remember how it was.

You know I proposed to that joint and it said yes, but it ran out before the wedding. Guess being stranded at the altar ain't so bad when you're wasted 8)
