Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hi,

First post so hello everyone.

Over the years I've been to Amsterdam on 4 occassions and loved it every time.

I'm going with a friend at the end of May staying for three nights and happen to be going to Utrecht to see a gig one night.

We're getting the train there and back and the gig is at the Tivoli, but as I've never been before, I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for coffee shops there? Or indeed anything else which would be nice to check out whilst wondering around.

I have heard to be careful at the station as a few "characters" hang around, but apart from that I know nothing about the place.

Welcome aboard DyC...my memories of Utrecht station are that its HUGE
took awhile to get out of ...but we were finally deposited in the Centrum
and the wow effect of the city kicked in immediately...only visited one CS-
Andersom...nice celler ambiance...with a budtender thru a gate thngy at street level...not sure where your gig is ,but Utrecht was a pleasent daytrip for us ...we just stayed in the old centrum.

thanks - apparently the Tivoli (which is 250 metrs fromt he station I'm told) has a coffee shop under it, and I have also heard about this place - http://www.sarasani.nl/, but I need to get my head round where everything is.
