Great stuff Lemming, a good plan is in the works and here we were thinking the schedule looked kinda slim..!

We're game for all suggestions so far! A few suggestions / amendments of our own:

Regarding the Haarlem trip we suggest starting it half an hour or so earlier. Considering the challenges of cat herding and all we would like a little more time to get "there and back again" before we meet up for the boat trip.

Mr.K on Wednesday sounds good also, maybe a short crawl around the area could follow or be integrated (throw in paradox, 1e for their hash, maybe funky monkey for a chill or if the weather is good sound garden for a cheeky pint)...

Regarding the Monday mission we're again game, suggest a soft start at Baba (which could drag out a bit due to the killer products, verdampers and great atmosphere + staff) around 14 - 14.30, then follow our fearless leader across the waters and see what's up over there.

The Baarsjes crawl is looking really good too. From experience Boerejoengens west (and by extension their sister cshop Bij just around the corner) is a great shop for b&f and Massawa, which is just down the baarsjesweg, is great for Classic Moroccan and should fit quite a few of us for a sit down. Will be back with more suggestions vfor this mission later, in addition ofc to New Amsterdam as proposed by lems, but most likely Millinium and flashback will be among our other points of interest!

According to the list above, CopenhagenCouple, JayBee420, Smirks, Ed the Head, Kushola, Macky and Matty223 should be around on Monday and we'll be joined by 2stick, Drugsbunny and Grandmasterblake on Tuesday. There are also the residents DeLekkersteNUGS16, Gapie, etc. and others with no specific dates who might join us.

So, the question is, which of you would be interested in joining either or both of these crawls?

Unfortunately I don't have an email address for Massawa. If anyone has any contact with them and would like to ask whether they'd like to host a session, that would be cool.

The full list of Baarsjes area shops that I'd like to photograph is: Terminator, The Dream, Ruthless, Nieuw/New Amsterdam, FlashBack, Coffeeshop 156 and Bommel. Millennium is another but it's really awkward to include in a Baarsjes crawl because there's a bloody great canal in the way! Kashmir Lounge would make a nice stop on the way back into town. Bij, Boerejongens West, Loft and Hunter's Mercatorsquare are all nearby too but there's a limit to what we can expect to achieve. Let's face it, getting a bunch of stoners out to the Baarsjes would be an achievement in itself!

A lack of bridges over the canals can become a bit of an issue in the suburbs. There's a massive obstacle between the Baarsjes and the Old West so you could almost see Millennium from Massawa but they're miles apart without a boat. The Baarsjes itself is dissected by a canal dividing the Krommerdt cluster from the Hoofdweg en Omgeving ones and so on so a pre-planned route might be worthwile.

I am in from Tuesday 17th but will be leaving on the last flight Friday 20th,trying to get Friday night squeezed in but hotels at the weekend are mental booked up and crazy priced.

Logic points to meeting at WW Sativa near the station as a solid starting point for waiting and meeting, before heading on, but if going to WW Indica there might be less point in going to two places with the same menu, so, er, dunno, Empire?
EDIT I forgot that people are meeting in Voyagers for this, but I'm just going to join up in Haarlem, as I'm coming up from the south...

Sounds like a great plan. If you rent from Starbikes, De Ruijterkade has a very quiet paved area that will be perfect for ten minutes riding around safely to acclimatise and get yourself back into the flow of things, if you're really nervous as I was - get one of the crew to come with you and chaperone for your first ten minutes through traffic back to voyagers for a calming doobster (I'd be happy to but won't be arriving till mid-way through your trip). After that you'll realise you had nothing to fear.

The stats don't lie folks We have this thing at the end of drink ads here which says enjoy alcohol responsibly, I feel we need a similar campaign on ACD to stop all this dangerous behaviour. You know when you crash into an old Dutch lady the headline will read "Stoner Mows Down Old Lady" and you're essentially giving us all a bad name.
