Swiss Coffeeshops
Swiss Coffeeshops
I just heard from a friend that 'apparently', Switzerland is the new Amsterdam. I find it hard to believe, but what I read on the Inet through Google seemed attractive, but confusing.
It is apparently cheaper, around 3-4 Euros per gram and offers both Swiss Grown Outdoor strains and Dutch strains. Thats alot cheaper than the 7-15 Euros in Amsterdam!
The shops cant advertise, same as Dam, so you have to find a CS and ask if they have any cannabis products.
The law states you cant smoke cannabis, but it can be produced and sold, provided it is sold not to be smoked. For example 'bath products'.
Has anyone been to these places or anywhere similar? It sound interesting, but could be a dissapointment

Hi guys I'm Jonny, I live in Switzerland.
That is unfortunatly what was some years ago....I'm sorry to tell you that but believe me it's very sad for me too
In my region we had for like 5-6 years a situation very similar to Amsterdam, in my city many shops opened and there you could buy super-quality ganja, thanks to an hole in the law that made it unappliable to shops wich sold it for "non drugs" purposes, but like closet-perfumes-bags as said before or for other means.
After having "closed their eyes" for all these years, politicians and police, pushed by a part of the population, put the end to that "gold period" by approving a law wich requires people who want to grow marjuana to ask a statal permission and keep the THC level of the product so low that the only thing you could do is produce ropes...police proceeded to close all shops, make some arrests, and in something like 1-2 months everything disappeared with a big disappointment for everybody that like me thought that things were taking a good way toward an intelligent solution to the drug problems, at list for what concern marjuana
We could have been a small 2nd Amsterdam...
... but maybe we just have to wait some more years

lol im guessing so, if it still technically swizterland then it willPrestoned wrote:jonnyboarder, does that apply to the German quarter area?
like saying is wales allowed different laws to england just cos they speak welsh
anyways,
in howard marks' senor nice he touches on this in some detail as it was around geneva that shanti baba started up the "herbal pillows" as a cover for breeding seeds. i think he said at some point shanti baba even rented land of the mayor of geneva and had plants growing, legally!
it was when, like our swiss friend says, the government took action against all the loopholes shanti baba was busted and spent time in jail.
riding here & there!

Southern Spain is awash with good hash, and there's a decent amount of good/great weed if you have a few contacts. There are bars where you can smoke too if you ask around. There's lots of headshops, always a good place to start. I love Spain, and if you factor in the food, weather, people, scenery etc...why do we all go to Dam again?
Bernum, I think you may be referring to Christiania.
Unfortunately, the situation in Copenhagen has been going downhill for sometime.
