ChefGirl in Amsterdam!
Hey there everyone!
We had an eventful evening last night walking through Amsterdam. We started out headed to Paradox, but when we got there, it was packed! So we headed down to Tertuilla, which, when we got there was just closing (They must close early, I think it was only 7). From there we walked to Dolphins, which had so many people, they were coming out the front door.
So we walked through town, heading up towards Rembrantplein. We found Bushdocs, and went inside. The dealer was pretty gruff with me, and when I asked `Can I have 2 g of the G-13` he got a little snippy and said they were out of it. So I got 2 g of AK-47 (15.50) and 1 g of Nepal (15). We sat outside and smoked a j, and listened to the crazy football fans over at Coco`s Outback (which is right next door). From here, we walked up Spuistraat, and back to good ol`Pink Floyds. New budtender again, but still a great guy. We ordered some toasties, and some Mako Haze (11 e a g). We smoked the Mako Haze, which was really awesome! It was so good in fact, we got another gram of that, a gram of Oceans 12 (11 e a g), and a gram of Laughing Buddah, which suddenly today appeared on the menu (8 e a g).
Upon coming home, I made some pasta salad from the fixins we bought at the AH (side note, onions taste very different here, I wish they tasted like this at home!), and we sat down and watched one of the Matrix movies on TV. We were both pretty warn out from walking so much, so we went to bed kind of early (10:30), ending the day with a j full of AK and Laughing Buddah.
Its another beautiful day outside, with the sun shining bright. Not sure what the plan is, but I know we`ll spend a lot of time relaxing. I will probably get out and take tons of pictures.

I don`t have many but promise I will have some more soon. The hash is the zero-zero, and the bud is the White Widow (both from Spirit). The garden is out back of the apartment, with a bonus pic of some Stroopwaffels. Today I will probably take a bunch of the Jordaan area, and try to get some better pics of the apartment. Its a REALLY slow process to upload these pics, so bear with me and be patient. Plus half the time, the shit on this pc is in Dutch!
I am here until the 28th, so expect to see a lot more from me. This has turned into an excelent way to keep everything I did straight, and plus I get to share it all with you (I know how much I love reading trip reports!). If anyone has any questions, let me know!

Thanks ChefGirl, not that many reports get me really crazing a trip back to the dam but yours has got me checking flight prices!!!
Keep having fun and be sure to check out Barneys Lounge near Rembrandtsplein, also strongly recommend a day trip to Haarlem for a change of scenery and some great smoke at WW Indica.

Howdy there all!
Well, today was another fantastic day here in Amsterdam. Once we got up and going, we headed over to Pink Floyds to get the day started right. We had some sandwiches and smoked a joint of Mako Haze (bought the night before). Oddly enough, they were playing the `Pulse` DVD on their system. We sat and chilled out for awhile, and then I smoked a joint of Juicy Fruit. We left and headed out to go to the grocery store to stock up on munchies (I think I might turn into a stroopwaffel, I swear!), and then back to the apartment.
From here we decided to check out the other hash specials at Spirit so off we went. Unfortunatly our favorite little bread shop was not open today, so no tastey treats from there! Heading into Spirit, I decided on 5 grams of pollen for 25 euro, what a steal. We took a seat in the back, and smoked it up....It was a pretty decent smoke! Hit you heavy behind the eyes....
I dropped off my partner at the apartment for his daily nap, and headed out to explore more of the city. I headed down Haarlmerstraat and up to Damrak. I walked down a bit, and found some fries (with mayo please! yum yum!), and walked down to Dam Square. I stood around Dam Square, eating my fries and people watching. Of course, it was super busy!
I headed back up and decided to stop into De Kuil. The only `sativa`on the menu is the Nevills Haze, at 12 e a g. The shop was pretty much empty. 2 guys sitting at the bar, talking about how stoned the weed got them. I sat at the window and rolled up a j of the Haze. This smoke has an awesome flavor. I really enjoyed it. After that I smoked a j of white widow and juicy fruit that I rolled eariler in the day. Then I walked home. It was starting to look like rain.
I got home and woke up my partner and cooked up some dinner. It started to rain, and then rain harder. Then I passed out on the couch for about 2 hours (hey, I AM on vacation). Once I woke up, I was ready to go back out, and the rain had even stopped.
We walked out and headed up to the Rokerij. Asking the budtender, he suggested the NL 5 or the Cantalope Haze. After smelling both, I decided on 2 g of the Cantalope (12 e a g). We smoked that, and it was really great! A good clean smoke with a nice high. My partner walked back up to the budtender, with the intention of buying some hash. He ended up with a gram and a half of the Dutch Iso (22.50 e a g). It is by far the strongest smoke of the trip, and the most expensive. IMO - its worth it. Its icky gooey goodness!
So here we are back at the apartment. I stopped at a place called `Noodle N`Go` that is a block away. Hope its good!

I remember the Rokerij NL5 as a lovely smoke last November CG, give it a go next time. Do you like Thai food? try the Bird on Zeedijk, the takeout opposite the restaurant has a few seats, and it's really good value. You can't beat spicy food when you're stoned...Cafe Blom does a great panini if you want a change from the bakery (left out of 420 door, right onto Nieuwendijk, about 2 doors up on right) And you have been to Rene's on Damstraat?? pastry heaven. Smoke, munch and rock on!

LOL CG there we go again I'm a stroopwaffel FREAK I brought home 13 pckgs hehe the karamel is my fave and I also get them at AH.
Also, they have Zero Zero hash at Trefpunt coffeeshop 5 grams for 27.50! They also have JH, NYCD, White Widow and 1 other strain all 5 for 25. The hash is mostly 5 for 27.50 and I bought the Huispolm which is nice. CAN'T beat the prices here, CG.
To get there is SIMPLE. Tram #14 to Pontonustraat (sp) get off tram, look toward overpass and it's 1/2 a block up on the left. EASY to get to and it's buy and leave. You can smoke in there, just no tables or chairs.
Would love to try the Mako Haze you speak of, it was a real hit with a few friends from 420, I just didn't try it this time. I've had it before and thought it was okay but not like others for the price. With the way everyone has raved about it this time, I should have tried it again.

Morning all!
Its kind of a dreary day here in Amsterdam, but that shouldn`t stop us. We`re going to head out for our morning smoke at Pink Floyd, find some more papers and maybe a new little pipe (when we bought our first one, we rushed and didn`t get one big enough) then stop at the AH to buy some drinks. From there we plan on heading back to La Turtilla, in hopes to catch it open today
From there we were thinking of the Dolphins, but I suppose that is going to depend on the weather.
A few side notes I have forgotten to mention in my prior posts:
I know there has been some talk about ID`s and getting them checked in shops, and fake ID`s. Well, just to let people know, they are checking ID`s everywhere. Especially Pink Floyd. Almost every time I have been in there, they have checked ID`s. Popeye and Rokerij are also the same. They seem to really be cracking down.
Our toilet in the apartment has a light and a heavy flush. I`m not sure why (maybe its all the dope), but I find this very funny.
IG - I was considering leaving all my clothes and packing my suitcase with nothing but stroopwaffels!

We think so alike it's scary! Please let me know about La Tertulia. I haven't been there yet and I always stay near the Jordaan! I think they have an upstairs that is supposed to be cool to look out of, can't wait to hear what you think.
