bb420, the problem was john ashcroft. Gonzoles has taken it over but that dude has bigger fish to fry. See Ashcroft was running for govenor in my state of Missouri, but lost to a dead guy. NO one wanted him in there. But being the piss poor polititian he is, Bush brought him on as the attorney general. Missouri was still appoligizing for that one! As I said, we just got back from Humbolt, and if I didnt see all the plants with my own eyes I would not have beleived it. I will attempt to post a pic of our friends grow room

Cattales- My point of giving those links is to show that the federal government still reserves the right to prosecute (or is it persecute) anyone growing, processing, transporting or selling weed, regardless of what the states say.

Yes, but unless you are running a dispensary, there is little to no chance the Feds will come and snatch your crop. I know numerous individuals who have a med license and approval to grow their own and have been for years. Got to love Northern Califas.

You are lucky to have friends in the emerald triangle Cat. Northen Cali is a great place for top notch herb and Amsterdam is also great for the variety and peace of mind.

Here goes my opinion.........

The weed in holland tastes and smells very different from what im used to in the US...Very strange I think..I almost like it more in the US..But its not a huge deal for me....I go to amsterdam for the freedom and relaxation and not really for the bestest kick-assest stuff.I just got back a week or so ago..

I liked the diesel from greenhouse mainly because the taste was different from almost everything i bought..Taste is important to me.

in New York state, pot has been decriminalized to 25 grams. You get a $100 fine but no jailtime and it doesn't go on your record, so I don't worry. Growing is a different story. As long as you can prove personal use, you won't usually get f*cked. NY is about to go medical though...
for complete lists of states and their laws, goto: www.norml.com
they have info on all US pot laws and links to everything.

now that I see how "liberal" the US is when it comes to weed, I have to change my opinion about Americans in general......seems like your politicians are much better than ours.....wtf is going on in this world. I need to move to the US as soon as I have earned some money !

Oh man, cattgirl it looks awesome there. How much does it cost to live there, approx. (housing market, land) and if you visit there, are people friendly? Do they share? lol

Looks like so much fun, I'm thinking a road trip to CA. is in order.

Unfortunately it is typical california.. Jobs are low and housing is high cost.. sigh. People are very friendly. I would suggest for the new comer to go to the town of arcata and hang out on the town square. Ask the first hippies you see where to go.. LOL hippies are everywhere in that town..
