im sure the last time i was over (2005) i went into a shop called the temple,

loved it and spent many hours sat upstairs smoking away happily

Yes its soft temple its on gravenstraat, just off dam square, cool litle shop if my memory is correct.

If it is the soft temple then they have a lovely upstairs seating area. Its also near a blue note shop for that stoned jazz shopping...nice...

I stopped in here pretty regular as it was about the last coffeshop before my hotel (Mevlana) and it was a nice spot to sit and contemplate the 4 flights of stairs I had to walk up to me bed.
