Finally booked up!!! Going for my longest stint this time around and staying for 8 nights which should be awesome.

Got the GHE hotel booked for the second half of the trip (it was full on the weekends) and just waiting to see who else is going to look at the first half hotel bookings.

Counting down the days already....

Aw have fun, Valo!

I went to the dam the exact same dates last year that you're going this year and boy was it HOT during the day. I don't know if you've been in the dam when it's actually hot, but it gets hotter than islands I've been on. Cools down at night, though.

Make sure to tell us all about it

That's cool, I was there same time last year too....27th - 31st July if I remember right. It was bloody hot too, think it was the third heat wave in a row that summer (same for the UK) over there and it was more than warm enough for me. I got sunburnt in Vodelpark after spending several hours smoking some 'ice skunk' from Old Church sitting on the grass

A great trip all the same!

Holy cow, Valo we were there the same time last year also... I actually got there the 26th and left the 1st. If you saw a woman with long blonde hair down to her butt that was me lol honestly not too many women with really long hair over there, I noticed.

I was SHOCKED at how hot it was and I'm used to the heat. Funny thing was I brought my bikini cuz I was staying on a houseboat way out of the dam on a lake so I was in good shape since I don't sunburn, really as I have olive skin. It was nice to sit out on the dock and burn a spliff my friend would roll for me **sigh** Okay I wanna go back now

I did see a hot, blonde girl with longish hair and bikini on, but unless your name is Simona from the Czech Republic then I doubt it was you

But that is random that we were there the same time....the trip stands out because of the heat those days, I remember spending twice as much on cold drinks that time around. But I do think you get, or stay, more stoned in the heat; as my friends and I all agreed that the walking in between coffesshops on a crisp day this past january was enough to sharpen you up and ready for more smoking.
During last summer there were times when I got to a coffeeshop and couldn't go in because I was so loaded from the last place! Can't wait for that feeling again.

Sorted it out earlier this morning that I will be spending the first 4 nights in Amsterdam with my dad!!!! Should be an experience for the both of us!! He has never been before, but has smoked since before I was born so has always wanted a trip to Amsterdam and when I said I had no-one to go with, was eager to take the chance to come along for a couple of nights. He also loves photography so will be happy spending hours of photo taking after a coffeeshop visit or three. Will be kinda cool also, as I don't get to see him much either since moving away from home.

So I can't wait, needless to say :!:

Hey scott - don't know why I only just saw this message! But my flight in doesn't get there until 4pm so don't expect to be in the first coffeeshop until just gone 5. I would usually get an earlier flight but there is only one a day to Amsterdam from here so had no choice this time round.

Thanks for the offer and I hope to catch up on some updates when you get back....i'm sure to be reading this forum in Pink Floyd a few times :)

Bournemouth, so there's little choice in airlines or times. Cheap airline though which is good, I got the ticket for under £50.
