Maybe I should explain a 'poh pa' is what I say to my kids when they hurt themselves as in' ahh did you get a poh pa' ...confused?..you should see their faces. Anyway I digress..but It got your attention didnt it!
What I wanted to ask was this; I have been very responsible this trip and actually bothered to take out travel and medical insurance, but since i cant be bothered to read the small print I was wondering, if I was injured (tram, canal related incident etc) and I was v. stoned at the time do you think they could invalidate my cover by saying it was my own fault as I contributed to it?
Any thoughts would be most welcome....

If you're from within the EU you should have a "European Health Insurance card" which replaces the E-111 form.
This should cover you for Emergency hospital treatment.
Although basic single trip travel insurance is really cheap......... and covers questions like :-
What if I lose my Bag?
What if my spends are stolen?
What if my Hotel booking is messed up?
What if I like to fraudulently claim for loss of that new Rolex I just bought?
What if my tour operators are the biggest bunch of cowboys since the front two rows of the last Village People concert?

Just stick it in yer wallet every European trip.
If you need emergency hospital treatment our Government will pay.....
Spain is the only questionable exception.... they always used to like extra corroberation with the old form... now however there is none.
