Welcome, Stew... hope you get to try Grey Area's gear this time, it's definitely worth it. I never tried the weed at Dutch Flowers, but on a beautiful summer day this is the place to have a nice glass of white wine, sit outside and watch the world go by along the canal... it's awesome, I was doing that last summer 8)

Thanks for welcome, i liked your input islandgirl as when in A/dam like to walk smoke walk drink walk smoke walk drink, like to get lost and find somewhere just to watch world go by. As everyone else like to discover new parts and places. Am just hoping for few sunny days! as last time in A/dam rained one day and we went through 3 umberellas, kept leaving them behind at some nice coffeeshop! Never mind there soon and even hope to get on bicycle this time!

Dutch Flowers = Coffeeshop
white wine = alcohol

As of last April 1, the two don't go together anymore.

Thanks fly by am aware of april 1st but not exactly what it consitutes. i know coffeeshops can only sell gear and not alcohol now but it is nice to have small amount of beer with your smokes so i don't mind buying and going elsewhere to smoke. is this possible e.g. kadinskys (off damstraat) they have coffeeshop and bar opposite where you can smoke , were they ahead of this law , can you still smoke in bars? although i would not necessary but from kadinskys!

Most bars are still smoker friendly (try the Nes, for sure). I myself like a beer or two to help hold me down after a smoky day.
