HGF is not closing down :D
at least not yet anyway...

I have just stopped in there on the way home from work and bought a €10 bag of cheese and asked them. They currently don't know what is happening. They know they will not be closing at the end of the month. The girl advised me they may have to close at the end of the year, but that they really don't know, they don't think it would be before the new year.

So we have a reprieve for those who missed the shop last year, you can make up for it this year :)

A reprieve would be good news indeed. Homegrown Fantasy has consistently been one of my top three coffeeshops for well over a decade. If and when it closes it will be the biggest loss yet IMHO. Maybe we should all go and pay homage over the 420 weekend.

That's grand news about the delayed closing. I'll be sure to pop in when I'm there.

I'll be there at least once during my trip, I love the staff, the coffee, the toilet and of course the weed.

Hi SoulRider

I was just wondering how you rated the bag of Cheese that you brought after work, would you say HGF is the best place to get Cheese ?

So far I've had ok cheese from Funny People, really good cheese from Mellow Yellow and Basjoes, but the pick by far has been the HGF cheese, always #1 for cheese, but interestingly, I think most of their other weed is rubbish, but that is my opinion and I am a fussy bugger

Didn't even open the menu, just walked in and asked for the €10 cheese bag and about the shop. I would guess so though. Will check it out when I come home from work on Monday for you as I go past it, almost. :)
