I have seen some stuff pretty similar to that, but it was not as green. It was borderline brown, but still green. Needless to say, a good deal was got. I think an Oz would cost around £40. It was being sold as an 8th for £15, or quarter for £25. I think I only got a bit of it, kindofa shame though. As someone else said, it was a morning smoke when you had shit to do.

Do you know what? Apparently that is all that anyone round here can find at the moment. It's apalling. That stuff actually looks alright, better than most bricky weed. It's very green.
We used to get more of it when I was younger though, for sure; around the same time you could still get decent hash here!

I know this thread was for all the "soap bar" smokers in green and pleasant land, but that's totally the "bammer" we used to buy in high school. $45 for a zip and all the seeds and stems you can gimme. I think the taste of that stuff is why we started rolling blunts.

Back in California, it actually became difficult to find this sorta stuff.

One more time for the hard-of-thinking:
It's Not Mexican Brickweed. I smoked ounces of that in the Southern USA, and it's nothing like that.

We used to get this stuff which we called compressed brown...twas alot darker than your batch..havn't seen it for a good 7 or 8 years though and to be honest it wasn't a bad smoke, i don't miss it though.
I don't count though because i'm from Australia.

It was a bit harsh eh... ?
I haven't seen that shit in Glasgow for many moons, it was 20 quid a quarter way back then too, surprising it hasn't dropped in cost in line with everything else. Very harsh tasting and not much of a stone, hardly cost effective.
Still, I'd smoke my boxer shorts if I thought it'd get me stoned.

Well, we used to get 3-4 different types of brickweed in high school. One was super green like that and looked like grass clippings once you broke it away from all the stems. I remember making some sorta bong contraption in my friends kitchen with jars and funnels and a bit of screen door so we could take massive rips of the stuff (as it took a bunch to get stoned). I can't say I really aspire to smoke the stuff in this thread, but I'm sure it brings back all kinds of fond memories.

Natural, pre-skunk, as nature intended.
