Third visit to Amsterdam & i've got some questions.
Hey MBV, not sure if you've seen the Smoker's Guide, but it might work for you. I've noticed the Bushdoc, seems to favor certain shops over others, but it's good reading. I have put together a list based on this site compared with the travelogues of this forum and my own experience.

sweet man,how long ago were you in amsterdam? i know this might make me sound like a junkie but the feeling of knowing that you are going to get high as a motherfucker makes the feeling of anticipation worth every long minute.
i've cut down on smoking this whole half of the year so i can get fully blasted, ohhh i love amsterdam.

I have been only twice, once in March 2000 and June 2007. I understand the anticipation, for me it's not only the fact I'll get higher than a mofo, it's also the fact I can smoke openly in a relaxing atmosphere.
There is only one coffeeshop I would never go back to, and that is Double Reggae. Just not my kind of place.

Just thinking about the cinemas reminded me of a couple of places. Melkweg and Tuschinski. I have not seen a flick over there, but I have been to Melkweg to see a show. Excellent venue by the way. It's a multi-media complex in an old dairy factory hence the name.
