Amnesia has always been a favourite. Tried the Old School Haze. Really sweet taste. Great service as always from staff.

One of my favourite coffeeshops, top qaulity service and good bud evrytime ive been here.

Even though its the off season, there wasnt a seat when we arrived so decided on a quick buy and fly, spoke with the dealer for a while and asked to see a few strains.

We purchased;
1g dr grinspoon. Very nice looked and smelt nicer here than barneys and stones. Vrry hazey/spicey/lemon smell energetic high
1g pineapple chunk. Pineapple smell and taste. Good sativa high
1g vanilla kush. The girlfriend bought this looked and smelt nice. The spliff was so tasty she didnt really want to share so i cant comment on the high lol.
1g critical kush. Pungent stinky goodness. Kinda like a very strong skunk#1

All very good strains this time round would reccomend them all.

Loved Amnesia.
The whole staff made me feel very at home and greatly assisted in suggesting what I should start off with.
Considering that I was not able to smoke for at least 25 years(Because of my medical profession as well as random drug testing in N.Y.).
Started off with some house blend(Think it was Indica, not sure.).
Then worked my way up to Napelese Temple Ball.
Just like the old days.
Only in Amsterdam.
Cannot wait to go back.
Hopefully sooner than later.

I was at Amnesia about two weeks ago, for the first time after probably four or five years, and I was not disappointed. It was a little crowded and people were somehow smart enough to put tables and chairs right at the entry so I had to sneak through, but I did survive it ;)... I asked to see the Grinspoon and the Old School Haze, unfortunately their Grinspoon had just been depleted, but the Old School Haze totally made up for it. Here's a pic:

Date of purchase was 30 March 2013. It's great weed, right up there with the Grinspoon that I had at Barney's about two years ago. (The quality of their Grinspoon has dropped considerably since then, so I'm not sure how it would compare to today's Grinspoon.) The Old School Haze looks to me like a cross between a Haze and Grinspoon, i.e. very fluffy buds, very strong spicy smell, and a very pleasant up high. I can really only recommend it.

Weed quality aside, the place is nice and clean, and the staff was ok too!

Bare with me.
I am new at this.
Stopped by Amnesia while walking on the Herengracht.
Simply loved the place.
Felt like I was smoking in my own apartment.
The whole staff made me feel at home and considering that I have not smoked in almost 25 years(Random Drug Testing in N.Y. And was in the Medical Profession.)
They suggested in what I should start off with.
Finally worked up to the Nepalese Temple Ball.(Totally delicious and like the old days like I remembered it.)
And the Vanilla Milkshake was awesome as well.
Visited on 3/13.
Cannot wait to go back.

Will try to go back maybe Oct. or Nov.2013?
If not? definetly by March or April of 2014.
Any recommendations on what to try next time would be greatly apreciated.
But I am sure that everything is good there but do not want to feel liked I should be scraped off the floor if you know what I mean.

I've been coming to Amnesia for years now... although the decor's changed and Barney's seems to be very involved now, it still hits the spot for me every time. Had my first two smokes of the trip sat outside at the front, looking out on Herengracht. Temple Ball and NYCD absolutely top notch. Lovely service too, just an all round great start to my Amsterdam smokefest!

Sorry that it has taken some time to reply.
You are absolutely right.
The Temple Ball was awesome and might go back around Nov.2013.
Maybe sooner.
No reason to wait 25 more years.
I am retired, so waiting 25yrs.longer is no longer an issue.

Had a brilliant day at Amnesia today. Super friendly budtender (the guy with the reddish hair), suggested the Liberty as our sativa pick of the day. Me and my mate used the Volcano vaporizer and were absolutely blasted by the Liberty. F'ing amazing :D

Big ups for the budtender, giving us some water before we went out on the streets again :P

Unfortunately later on the day the Liberty was all sold out. Will get some more next time, and Amnesia was a great place to smoke.
