I was in here on Saturday and we both left as the budtender was an ass. When we walked in the heat was serious. Then the tender (with long red hair i think) told us we're not getting served for another 5 - 10 mins because he was finishing his shift. He then shouted for everyone to hear,that if we wanted to be served by him, we should have come earlier. There was two people in front of me and they may have been together. What a dick.

Sorry to hear about youre bad experience at Amnesia.
Visited Amnesia around March of 2013 and was treated like family.
the whole staff made me feel extremely comfortable.
Considering that I have not smoked for almost 23 years, they instructed me in what to start off with.
Sounds like you had a nasty budtender.
i agree.
If I was treated like that, I would not go back again, but I thought the place was awesome and had a positive and great experience there.

Its the only bad experience i've had in 4 visits to amsterdam. The guy could learn something from the nice lady tender in voyagers.

great smoke in here,lots of volcanos to vape with,bud tender/owner knows his stuff,we had a couple of angry words,but then he came over got out some expermental smoke and we did a 10 foot party bag and had a good long chat,went round the shop and i had the last 3 feet for me and the mrs,the guy been in the game since the 80 and he can seem a bit over bearing but he sell excellent weed,and he not beyond saying sorry,

I go to Amnesia a lot and have never encountered rudeness in any way at all. They're really nice people, with the exception of one of the female ladies who can be cool sometimes.

Much as I like Voyagers too (and they have great weed) I hate the way they use the f word every other word. No need.

was in here tues and wensday afternoon last week,love the vapes and the nice seats,got 1/2 g of there l.s.d and grapefruit.and vaped away,both excellent highs,grapefruit had a good strong taste,i love this shop great drinks,big menu,clean shop,3 volcanos and there sell you 1/2 grams.

Last time this happened to me was Voyagers OG#18. Started the joint in Voyagers and managed to finish it 2 hours later in Greenhouse ( with a J of something else in between). Love when I get nice surprises like this.

As for Amnesia, I really like this coffeeshop and always find the staff very pleasant. Only complaint I've ever had about this place is that the LSD always seems to taste harsh. Mexican Haze is one of the standout smokes of the last 5 years though.

This is located in one of the most beautiful, picturesque areas in the city. There's one or two outdoor tables that are worth seeking for canal-side seating if the weather is decent. Volcano vaporizers everywhere. The menu and weed are very similar to Barney's. Nice variety of high quality smokes. It used to be a bit more chill; now it's about as crowded as Barney's and Greenhouse. There's a little kitchen area for some passable munchies, tostis and drinks. I always gotta try Amnesia Haze here. Great weed but it's not as enjoyable to hang out here as it used to be. It's still a fun experience which leaves one in a great area to be stoned after visits to Amnesia and nearby Grey Area.

The Acapulco Gold was my groups undisputed smoke of the trip. If you ask me it's just the "Mexican Haze" they previously had on the menu but what ever they want to call it they can. Pretty strong but just the smell of this stuff made my mouth water and it truly was one of the most enjoyable flavors I have had the pleasure of smoking in a few years.

We all bought a few grams and ended up each sticking a load towards a vape session. Think we vaped our way through a couple of grams which, alongside my joint, left me floating and gave me the giggles. Spent a few hours floating away and playing Backgammon.

My friend bought some Red Cherry Berry to see how it compared to some we had recently had at home and said it was pretty much the same. Not a bad thing as the batch we had here was very tasty and had quite a kick to it

Now has a sign on the door saying to wait outside for an attendant to show ID to and let you in. Everyone was basically ignoring it though when we were there (though they were ID'ing almost everyone at the counter).

This place is very expensive nowadays, we were in there on the last day so didn't buy much to comment on quality (a friend got Laughing Buddha which seemed nice and was one of their least pricey at €12-€13). One thing I will really say in their favour though is that Amnesia do excellent (if pricey) drinks, some decent munch too (mini pancakes, chips & dips etc) and have a much better idea of customer service than some shops; drinks brought to tables with a smile etc.

Shop is clean and modern, much busier than it once was but we still had a pleasant time there.

It's definitely my favourite off their menu and has been consistently great since I first tried it in 2010. I make a point of dropping in to get some on every trip. A lot of their other strains, I find, are either pretty overpriced or just not that good in general. Their hashes tend to be really nice but also very overpriced
