Neldo you have every right to be appreciative of those who hold your freedom from tyranny close to the heart and exhibited that thru action instead of just words  CHEERS UP TO ALL THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE ACTION :!:

Right here it is. Folk in London panic and run like fuck when the terrorists strikes. In Glasgow some rocket spanks the fucker without missing a step. Thats the message to send to terrorists.
That's one of the funniest things I've ever read, classic weegie patter "some rocket spanks the fucker without missing a step"

Blue - http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/0807_smeaton.shtml

Take it with a pinch of salt though as it's the News Of The World... also you can be pretty fucking sure he didn't say "british" once and also the saying goes "This is glasgow, we'll just set about ye". Damned english press fuck up everything they touch, it annoys the shit right out of me when someone in england does something of note he or she is English, where as when someone in Scotland gets the same rap they're British...

</end rant>

'Twas doon by the inch o' Abbots
Oor Johnny walked one day
When he saw a sicht that troubled him
Far more that he could say
A fanatic muslim bastard
Wiz doin what he'd planned
And intae Glesca's departure hall
A Cherokee he'd rammed.

A big Glaswegian polis
Came forward tae assist
He thocht "a wumman driver"
Or at least someone half-pissed
But to his shock nae drunken Jock
Emerged to grasp his hand
But a flamin Arab loony
Frae Al Qaeda's band

The mad Islamist nut-case
Had set hissel' on fire
And swung oot at the polis
GBH his clear desire
Now that's no richt wur Johnny cried
And sallied tae the fray
A left hook and a heid butt
Required tae save the day.

Now listen up Bin Laden
Yir sort's nae wanted here
For imported English radicals
Us Scoatsman huv nae fear
Oor hame grown Glesca Asians
Will have nae bluidy truck
So tak yer worldwide jihad
An get yersel tae F*CK!

Neldo, did you write that? If you did, congrats man. You're the twenty first century Robert Burns, but a hell of a lot funnier. Ta & cheers, mate.

Point taken stew, of course glasgow is a friendly place to visit ... imo there isn't a friendlier place in the country, again it was perhaps humour that was overlooked. It's dry (and sometimes outright crass) I know, but it's built in and very hard to convey with text, something I perhaps should of considered before I began to hammer the keys.

I never planned to make a high/low/middleland debate, I didn't actually mention the bleeting of the sheep  (humour, i promise you! A bit low brow, but humour all the same - if you didn't laugh at everything, you would only cry)

btw...

Less of the gadgie chat, I'm considering being offended ;-)

I want to go to scottland because there are people like Neldo there who is good people. :)

These posts are really getting to me because there is so much I want to say, but I choose to keep them to myself. The one thing I will say is that we are all in this together. Terrorist will continue to kill innocent people where ever they want, period.
