How Do You choose Your Weed?

I go for the taste but this isn't the main reason.
When you are in the Dam you have too many choices, little time.
In the day in general I go for sativa type that don't cut my legs, in the night I go for the Indica serching the chill-out.
I'm looking always for special varieties, this is my main reason,this often coincides with variety powerful and tasty,but between the two go more for the taste.
In my last trip I try : Cheese, Nycd , Mako haze , Laughin Buddha , Sour Diesel, all amazing weeds.

and then follow my nose - it allways knows

tastiest, obviously.

If you want the strongest, buy Jelly Hash. If you want to sample all the flavours of 50+ strains in a few days, the strength is unimportant. Your gonna get wrecked anyway. Pretty much everything is stronger than standard london crap.

put it this way, would you rather have 0.2g of Isolater or a gram of Chocolope? The isolater probably is better value for money/bang for buck.

The chocolope is going to taste way better though.

Smell, look n price, usually look for the most expensive, as i no longer smoke regularly so when i go to Amsterdam i wana get knocked for 6. Last time had G13 Haze, Blue Cheese and Crimea Blue, all very nice and all not b4 work weed

I´m a haze lover - so I couldn´t go for the best value. The Haze-Strains are always a bit more expensive, but I think they´re worth it.
My favourites are NYC-Diesel and Amnesia Haze. These Strains are strong, and also very tasty. I like the citrusy and grapefruity taste of these strains - I also like the typical Sativa-High, that won´t make you tired.

when i mashed.......and ive bought stuff i intended to buy all day......

sometimes it just comes down to whats the best name.

green goblin, red hair special, white shark..... i would like to say ive dicovered some gems that way, but to be honest when im chosing just for the namesake of it....im to wasted to remember anyway

taste is a big factor in my choice's but also strenghth.I usually ask for a look at sum of the top end strains and from there I just trust my nose.

I go in and look at all the weed, and I buy the one that looks and smells the nicest, freshest and most good looking bud. I don't care about the strength of the weed, or the flavour, when I'm choosing a weed, as you don't know what each are.

Just the best quality bud in the shop at the time is how I buy!

All three although order of importance is taste, closely followed by strength, distantly followed by price. I tend to not buy 50 euro a gram jelly hash etc, but buy buds in the 10-18 euro a gram range based on what I see in front of me and the shops/strains reputation...

im a proper sucker for a good named strain lol

some names have even put me off before like lavender i have this image of it tasting like air freshners or something!

good to see many people here choose their weed by taste.
of course like SoulRider pointed out you will never know what the taste of the weed you choose will be for sure, but once you have tried many sorts you will have your favourites you buy everytime and some you didnt like which you wont buy...so its a learning process
