Today was a good news day! One barrier down for me to attend this years 420 celebrations. I now need to be extra nice to the Mrs and hopefully I will have the flight booked by the end of March.

@Ghost, that makes 4, with you, Trad, Samantha, and I'll throw my name in also wanting to go later. Let's see what others have to say. :D

Anybody still interested in going on the Buddha boat tour? We still have a few spots open before I make reservations this weekend. :D A nice, covered boat, with comfy cushions, 2 free drinks, & (if we want) for an extra $25 euros split between us, a hookah. :thumbup: All for only $34 euros for a 70 minute tour. So, if you're thinking about going, give me a shout, and I'll put you on the list. :mrgreen:

I won't know until end of March if I'll be over but if I am I'd like to attend. Do you think you'd be able to add me on later?

Lemming wrote: Tue 12th Mar 2024 04:56 pm @AzLaker - no worries. I put your name on there because you'd favoured it for later before Trad suggested Resin. My thinking is that, if we going to try for Zandvoort, that would be the best opportunity. We could make the times a little later to allow you and Bedge to get there or come up with a different plan.

At this stage the schedule is a rough draft for discussions to revolve around. Open to all suggestions.

People-wise, apparently Matty has dropped out but we've gained Stevesec and, hopefully, Jollylittlehun, so that's good.

Lots of regulars we haven't heard from yet. Tokeing Tom, GMan, Worsall, CCs, Nuggz, Drugsbunny, ChopperMike, Smirks and many more. Any of you guys gonna join us?

420 Virgins like Dude65, Kodak25 and Stevesec - there are pictures of me all over these forums. Just turn up at one of the meets and find us. In case of difficulty, just post in the forum chat or the live thread we'll have running. We also have a WhatsApp group that you can join. Everyone was a virgin once and when we started doing this mobile phones were not so ubiquitous so it's much easier now.
Cheers mate :)

Swap Spirit and Terps Army 2 - this should be straightforward. The trams don't work out quite so well that way so there will need to be some tram changes or slightly longer walks. Terps Army 2 is quite easy to get to so we might finish up in there earlier but, if not, we'll get there on 22nd.

Boat - have we settled on 7.30 or 8 yet? Are we happy to meet at Resin, as suggested by Trad or do we prefer Siberie? Several other places are also close, including Batavia.

Zandvoort - so AzLaker and Bedge are arriving on 18th. If we all want to try for Zandvoort that day then we could push it back to late afternoon/early evening. Maybe eat there. Of course, if the weather is shit then it may not be worthwhile anyway. Who would like to join an excursion to the seaside if we can make it happen?

@Lemming,
I'm in for a trip to Zandvoort, would like to grab a Bolt to see the track.
My vote on the boat trip time dilemma is 2000hrs (8:00pm)
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

Happy to meet at Resin would also be happy meeting at Siberia, Prix D'ami or Batavia :D agree with Trad the 8pm sailing sounds good :thumbup: gives enough time after 420 for a quick bite to eat. I'm also up for getting the Hooka while on board :D

I'm still on the fence about going to Zandvoort that day. 1st day in, not sure if I'm up for more traveling. :shock: :roll: Might stay close in town. I'll see.

Buddha boat tour, will be booked this weekend for, April 20th at 8:00pm-9:10pm. We'll be able to see the sunset and the lights. I'm booking for 10 so far, we'll see if anyone else commits before Saturday. :D @Ghost, renting a hookah will be well worth it, I think everyone would agree. :mrgreen:
My plans are to stop in at Siberia for a bit and chill, stock up if needed, then head over to Resin & hook-up who's there and head over to the boat. :D

Zandvoort - Docgonzo42, Sammysarahh, Trad and, maybe, AzLaker are interested in joining Igraine and me so it's worth a try. How about we meet in Siberie about 4pm, greet Azlaker and Bedge into town and attempt to get motivated. If the sun is shining through the window we might feel inspired. If it's raining or we're couchlocked then we could have a plan B on standby.

Boat meet - now boat is settled on 8pm, we could make the final meeting point at Resin at, say, 7pm leaving plenty of time for a session at Siberie beforehand. Does that cover everyone's priorities?

Docgonzo42 messaged me suggesting YoYo instead of Terps Army 2. That actually works well in conjunction with DNA/De Kade. We could catch tram 24 or the metro to The Pijp and stroll through the market to YoYo, maybe stopping at Katsu or Media along the way.

How does that sound?

@Jollylittlehun - if you do make it for a flying visit, try to make sure your return flight is late enough to join us at Ballonnetje on 21st. It should be well worthwhile.

@Lemming

It'll be the 2250 flight home. Hopefully I can book security through the Schiphol app again. I would have to get the train around 9 if I can.
