Why was this forum off-line for so long?

Some kind of server problem apparently. As most of you probably know, the forum is kindly hosted by Peter of Localinet (user Slimline https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... ofile&u=12). I don't really understand what happened but he mentioned something about hackers.
