christmas in NL

I'm planning a christmas/new year's trip to NL... is it worth it? is everything going to be closed? I don't want to sit in a hotel room for 3 days waiting for everything to open.

For the most part, it is business as usual during the xmas holiday season. Coffeeshops are open 365 days a year. Amsterdam looks even better during the holiday season with the city decorated for the occasion. Come on over and have a Mary Jane Christmas.
