Live Report - from the Coin

Post by Valo »

Sitting in the Coin about to enjoy my 3rd night and it has been pretty exhausting so far. Met my old man in Schiphol airport without any problems and have been on the go ever since.

Highlights for the both of us sofar include, Anne Frank House which I actually enjoyed, Van Gogh Museum, tram ride down south to Albert Cuyp Market and Katsu - also went to Haarlem earlier as we were blessed with some hot weather......hope it holds out for a trip to Vondel Park tomorrow.

Best hash so far is definatly Leila rifman hash from Pink Floyds, and the best weed at the moment is Lavender from Hunters Bar - although my dad likes the Black Widow best from Katsu.

Got loads of photos, including some good weed shots I will share when I get home.....which I don't want to think about yet. 6 more nights, and two more days to show my dad around - the trip couldn't have gone better so far.

More to follow when I can!!! :D

Looks like I cursed the weather as it has been pretty miserable since friday. The trip has been anything but though - although I just went to Schiphol with my dad so he can get the plane home, which left me a bit down as I had some a great time so far. However after a smoke (yes in the Coin again) I now look forward to a smoke in a couple of weeks time when we meet up again and can talk about the adventure we had.

Just gonna follow the devils advice and make the most of the next few days without any ties!! Although I am still planning a midday meet with cantona7 tomorrow at De Kuil.

More highlights include, Crystals and Chocolope from Grey Area - more than friendly service as always. Would love to buy some more Chocolope, but gonna try something different as I have never been dissapointed from that menu. Had another Argentine steak last night which was better than the one we had friday night.
Also, noticed that Pink Floyd has actually changed it's name (signs and all) to Dampkring - still a great shop though and now serves Rifman hash!!

Anyway, hope to write more later........

Tried 2 different steakhouses - one opposite Betty Boop coffeeshop and one just 2 doors to the left of Betty Boop. I think the one next door was slightly better foodwise, also a couple of € cheaper (and a hot waitress!)

And nothing else has changed in Pink Floyd.....although I only noticed 2 computer terminals, and the rizla vending machine has been moved from opposite the weed counter.

9:30 right now and i've already been approached by 2 beggers who were a bit pushy - hardly noticed them in my stoned/tired state but I do find it odd that I get more hassle in the morning than 1-3am in the morning!!!

Will write more later when I woke up more, and recovered from the G13 pipe I have just loaded

it was G13xCantalope from the Coin at 9,50 per gram. It is a good weed, but I could probably recommend 3 or 4 quite obvious better strains in my opinion.

Silver Bubble (or Bubble Silver) is possibly my newest favourite strain from the Grey Area. Has a unique taste and smell, and is a pleasure to smoke.....may have to pick up another bag to tide me over the next 2 days!

In Pink Floyd (or I should say Dampkring) where I just bought some Mexican Haze at 12,50 per gram which is a real nice smell and look also, will comment on the taste and effect shortly.

I never want to leave...........

Update on the Mexican Haze - very hazey taste, which I am not the biggest fan of (there was no haze taste in the Super Silver Haze from De Kuil).

Nice uplfting high though, just not sure if I can ever get used to the spicy/hazy taste! Mt Nice Guy Hash Plant (or something like that) is a good indica from Pink Floyd/Dampkring - only 7,50 a gram and what you expect in a good indica!
