I always thought this the skin prick meant a needle as in Heroin, could be wrong. I know the movie is based upon Syd's reaction to stardom, loosely. We studied it in a college english course.

The english electronica/experimental outfit COIL - particularly their Musick to Play in the Dark I and II albums...

Coil is one of the greatest music groups ever, in my opinion! i fully agree with Kathar, especially their albums "musick to play in the dark 1&2" but also "horse rotorvator" are really trippy records and it's always a great experience to listen to them when you have smoked marijuana, eaten mushrooms...; sadly that group doesn't exist any more, because their singer, jhon balance, died recently;

a few other groups that are worth listening to while smoking weed are: the german bands Can, Amon Düül 2, Popol Vuh; the Sergius Golowin album "Lord Krishna Von Goloka", almost all the artists from the Warp record label, leonard cohen and a lot of other musicians;

Yes man I have that a number of the Trojan 3 disk box-sets they are all pretty good, that one is about the third best of my collection.

The best 2 are the Trojan Rudeboy 3 disk box set or the Trojan Dub 3 disk box set, the dub boxset is fantastic essential with the green and also always good to listen to after a night clubbing, it really helps and is quite trippy.

Also anything buy Augustus Pablo is always fantastic.
