Bloomin Buds of Bongchester Batman, revelation!Tall Guy wrote:I saw a programme about Indian food last night, and they mentioned that Indian factory owners often give their staff a daily piece of "Jaggery" (sp.?) to clear their lungs after working in dusty conditions. It's a kind of unrefined sugar-type stuff, available in Asian shops.
Bonglord, get yourself a shitload
And I'm serious... see, I am of Indian origin, born and raised in London, and blazin hard for too damn long! i often wondered at curative procedures for reconditioning lungs, didnt know my old dear would be the ticket... I'm actually eating some NOW!!! As I write this.

No, Eaten. I think it may work similar to cough linctus - my reasoning is that cough linctus is also something like 99% sugar which acts as an "expectorant" on your lung tissue and throat - forcing your body to cough up and dislodge any stubborn unmoving - er - phlegm!lampshade wrote:It confuzzles me how unrefined sugar can help the lungs - how is this taken, snorted?
