Going back about 10/11 years, I was roughly 14 and was the only one of our group to have any sort of connection, so I would buy in a half lb (or a '9 bar' depending on your location) and distribute amongst friends and eventually relatives too (the start of my love/hate relationship with selling smoke, but that's another story), I used my parents house for cutting hash into half ounces, quarters, half quarters etc as my folks were cool with the smoking, even though they didn't touch the stuff, in their eyes it was either done in a safe environment or it was done on the street with a chance of being busted because they were wise enough to know a ban in the house wouldn't stop me doing it in other, more dodgy locations, but anyways ... I was broke as a joke one day and needed to borrow 30 quid from my ma, but I was terrible with paying her back at that time when I borrowed (no wonder, 14 - no job - buying/selling hash and juggling money to carry on doing so) so I gave her a quarter to hang onto and soon as someone wanted to buy it I'd pay her back, ol' skool price for a Q was 30 quid... so she gave me the money and I gave her a bit of hash to hold onto... basically we both forgot she had it and that I had borrowed the cash, 2 months later she couldn't find something so had to literally empty her bag out.
There it was... in all it's climgfilm wrapped glory... during the middle of a dry patch that had been on for over 2 weeks... suffice to say I was over the moon, she didn't even charge me the 30 quid for it, what a lady!!!!!!!
