Hello everyone!

I've been having a blast researching coffeehouses for my upcoming visit to Amsterdam. I'll be in town from Aug 30 - Sep 3, renewing an old, old, friendship with cannabis. I've been away from smoke for a good decade, but since I turned 50 I decided I'd treat myself to a buzzathon in the Fair City on the Amstel.

I hope so. In fact I was in Amsterdam about a year ago, but with my wife, who is less than keen about smoke. Managed to get away for a few minutes and nip into La Canna and buy some Zero-Zero hash (I think it was) and a pipe and lighter. Had a few late night hits after she went to bed each night. Mmmmmmm.....hash. Loverly.

So now I'm coming back on a wife-approved trip by myself. I just need to unwind from a rough year at work, and unlike her brother, who bought a Harley-Davidson Road King for his mid-life crisis, I'm just taking a solo trip to Amsterdam to chill and enjoy things that she has no interest in, like Haring Broodjes and Belgian Ales and Indonesian food and various museums (my Museumkart from last year is still valid!!!!)

*cough* and the weed. And the hash. *cough* *cough* *cough* *cough*

I'm going to be buying and tasting as much as I can. I'll probably have quite a stash built up by Monday Sept 3, so I think I should plan to be someplace that night to give away the leftovers to whoever shows up.

Unless I smoke it all. Heheheheheh.
