All ive said is written from personal experience and if you want to say something is shit then back it up or shutup.

If it scares some people off then they dont have any business taking LSD.
It is not a drug for everyone and can seriously freak out or damage people, psychologically or physically or get them into a lot of trouble. Which i have witnessed myself.

The first time i took it was with three other friends, two of which got freaked out, scared, ran away from us, tried to stop it and then went home.
One got into serious trouble including being sent to hospital and had huge problems with his family, the other got heavily beat up by his father.

More than half of people i know in those times that took it never wanted to take it again and said they had the worst time of their life, several others completely cracked after prolonged and often use which lead to one suicide i know of.

Of course it all depends on what kind of acid you are taking, there are weaker and milder ones - each kind has its own "special effects" - and it depends on how much you take.

Generally speaking what i said is nothing but the truth and people should be informed about it properly before they take it instead of having some asshole tricking them with his own bullshit stories how everything is great and amazing on LSD.

Its all fine if you had only nice experiences or forgot about the bad moments or took something i would consider mild or weak - but if youre disagreeing with me then youre either a liar or you have no idea what youre talking about really - and all of that can lead to some people ending up really fucked up.

I fucking wouldnt even recommend smoking to everyone, let alone serious acid.

Yeh i got credit and from my own experience acid rocks, you typed up the biggest load of cock on the forum, if your a weak minded pussy who dont realise you just popped something to get a buzz then your mental. You take it have fun for a few hours come round flicking droplets of water off flowers in the middle of a traffic island. It works, its good, your not gonna die unless you jump, aliens dont exist so ignore the green man on your shoulder, and No its a shadow not people chasing you down the street. Those who have been there know exactly what i am on about dont listen to frank if your strong in the head go have fun although a few of ya should steer clear.

I concur that when tripping it is Better to have good freinds around you preferably in the same state as you

I also concur that it is much better to be out in nature while tripping although I've had some awesome nights in on it to

However it is possible to bring yourself out of a bad trip both by reassuring yourself "it's only the shrooms/trips and also by having lots of vitamin C, i.e fresh orange juice or the likes
Also a smoke of some good old fashioned soap bar or the likes always helps to chill me out

Like everyone else has said, shrooms are a much nicer high.
I had a bad acid trip once, trying to sympathize with a friend of mine who was institutionalized at the time. I was thinking about this while watching the Usual Suspects in a movie theater. Burnt bodies and screams of Keyser Soze didnt help either.

Set and setting are the two most important things when it comes to tripping. You have to be in a positive mindset. No hangups or heavy shit weighing on your mind. You also need a safe, happy, familiar setting with people you can trust to take care of you. A trip can last anywhere from
6-10 hours so if it doesnt wear off when you think it will just relax and it will eventually fade away. Ive tried sleeping it off when I couldnt handle it.

Dont look in mirrors!! Sometimes you can disassociate yourself from your physical image and do harm to yourself.

As for the effects, it depends on the acid, but for the most part things will have trails of color behind them (try shooting pool and breaking the rack, oooh, aaaah).

Some peoples faces will become distorted and squiggly, sometimes ugly. You will hear auditory hallucinations such as echo, sounds slowing down to mush, and reverb.

You might also experience synesthasia (sp?) where your senses will cross each others effects. You can see music, hear colors, feel music, etc.

Good luck but take these preparations seriously.

This exactly , I had a very bad experience on magic mushrooms but as our mantra was "it's only the mushrooms" I came out it unscathed and ended up having them again a couple nights later (also a couple Valium or temazepan do the trick too , as Kermit said too you definitely need to be headstrong , but at the end of the day it is only a drug and you are the master of your own demise

However I was not around in the 60s etc where I imagine the LSD would maybe have been stronger than blotters but then again I've had some intense trips on those bad boys

I also pointed out that I had also had Blotters as well as mushrooms (not shitty truffles in dam but liberty caps which believe me can be pretty strong) I had numerous bad trips fuck I even thought I could step out a window from a fourth floor window cause my perspective was fucked , but my rational mind kicked in , I have also had liquid acid damn I've evev had some ketamine that turned me inside out and upside down

It's all about state of mind, if you're having negative thoughts leading up to taking the acid then dont take it, otherwise sit back and enjoy the ride.

id agree with that one. good state of mind = good trip , stressed/down/unsettled state of mind = possible bad trip. If you go into the trip wanting the experience it usually is amazing, if you go into trip concerned about a bad trip you will probally find a way to make it happen.

iv tripped on shrooms, lsd, mescaline, lsa, 2c-b and had awesome times on them all.
