Psychedelic electronic

Post by kmfdm »

I run a netlabel featuring music of many artists called LSDXM. vxc is our most prolific artist, producing a unique electronic psychedelic sound. He just finished releasing a new cd called spore voyage. Dyzv0r is also a long time label member and recently unleashed a new ground breaking cd called [url=http://dysphor.lsdxm.com/dyzv0r%20-%20g ... dition%5d/]ganglial metapulse[url]. It's an experimental electronic album that fuses glitch, breakcore and dark ambient influences.

Feel free to leave comments about these or other LSDXM artists.

I've been a fan of the Liquid Sound Design (LSD) label http://www.liquidsounddesign.com/ I like the fusing of Dub and ambient. I'll check out yer label as well thomaskmfdm. Thanks for sharing.

I took a random listen to three of these tunes to see what all the fuss is about.

Note: This stuff is not my usual cup of tea.

"Silent Ion - Membrane Frequency"... it was not to my liking (utter shit) 0/10.

"Combat Division - thisworld" almost liked it. 5/10.

"Combat Division - Alone" really liked it, it was uplifting in a 1980's british kinda way. 7/10.

Thanks for sharing and opening my mind an inch or two. (now where's my new "Waifs" CD?)

Combat Division is a friend of mine that has done some EBM and industrial work, but he quit for now because he had to sell all of his equipment to pay college bills.

Silent Ion is a collaboration between Dyzv0r and blopnuts. Fans of autechre will dig it.

We're also on myspace at http://myspace.com/lsdxm, but I need to update it with our new releases. Our catalogue is about twice as large now.

The Liquid Sound Design (LSD) label is very cool. I listen a few of the artists on it already. If you are a fan of The Orb you should definitely check out vxc. They are one of his main influences along with prodigy's 1994 album.

I really liked the VXC stuff, really groovy just what is needed when writing some tricky code. Not so fussed on some of the other artists...

I just noticed Dyzv0r's personal website wasn't working properly and no one could download tracks so I changed the link to the working backup site on LSDXM. The remastered and retitled version of ganglial metapulse wasn't on there yet, but I am uploading it now and have updated the link.
