I have just returned from my third trip of the year, each very different and each very enjoyable.

Trip 1

Hotel My Home - 35E pppn - Great location along the Harlemmerstraat near Pink Floyd/Barneys, reception room with seating, tv, bongs, free pool etc was good but the room was pretty basic. (3 single beds and a sink) with shared facilities.

Went with 3 freinds and the hotel was ideal for our budget and needs. Loved Pink Floyd and Rokerij Singel near to the hotel and also stumbled across Amnesia and Siberie close by. Spent plenty of time in De Kuil (enjoying the Vapo) and found the upstairs tables at Old Church.

Favourite smokes of the the trip were Umma Gumma from Pink Floyd, MK Ultra from Hunters and Nevilles Haze at De Kuil.

Trip 2

Hotel Cornerhouse - 35E pppn - What a find! Right next to dam square and 70E for a double room with ensuite. The room was great, tv, sofa, en suite, small kitchen etc. It was brilliant for the price and my number one choise when staying in Amsterdam in the future. Smoker friendly and a nice bar on the ground floor.

Went with my girlfriend this time so again the room was perfect. We've been to Amsterdam together before so didn't plan much this time and decided to take it easy for the few days we were there. In our time we made it to Haarlem where we stopped off at the Sativa then went on a bike ride. Favourite smokes of the trip were the Citral from Katsu, NYC Diesel from 2e Kamer and Temple Ball from Stix.

Trip 3

Willie Wortel's Sativa Rooms - 25E pppn - Highly Recommended! After visiting Haarlem on my last trip I decided to stay there this time. The sativa rooms looked a bargain at 55E a night and we weren't disappointed on arrival. We stayed in Room A which overlooks the train station and front of WW Sativa. It was very large with twin beds, comfy chairs, Tv, desk, fridge etc. Although facilities are shared there are 2 showers and 2 WCs on each floor for 2 rooms so shared facilities isn't a problem.

Started in the sativa for a game of chess, toastie and a spliff every morning. Enojyed all 3 Willie Wortels shops, especially the Sensimilia as well as high times in Haarlem. Also had fun with some Columbians purchased from Conscious Dreams, gutted they're class A in the UK now.

Favourite smokes of this trip were NYC Diesel again, Some blond Maroc from WW, and the temple ball again. I was also pleased to find the Umma Gumma on sale in OV Hortus.

Hopefully I'll find time for at least one more trip before the year's out...

Hey Bungle, what did the "small kitchen" consist of? Stove, range, micro, fridge? Just looking into a future visit

the word kitchen is probably a bit misleading to be honest....there are kitchen units but only a sink if a remember correctly. The one in the Sativa had a working fridge and twin hob that weren't on (health and saftey reasons i imagine).
