It shouldn't pass without mentioning the passing of Luciano Pavarotti. If his voice hasn't touched you yet, it will eventually, I promise you.

Someone emailed me this one at about 10:30 on the morning he died;

"St Peter staggers through the pearly gates carrying Pavarotti, hands him over to god and says "heres that tenor I owe you"
