Do a good deed today, help a confused Spliffysmurf!
Hi Folks
I've been looking at the forum subjects for a for a while, and have found some great info but I'm so confused!!! There are so many shops, so many types of weed - please help me!
Here's my situation:-
We've (my hubby and I) have been to the fabulous city of Amsterdam 15 times now, and are off for our 16th very soon. We're not great connoisseurs of the bud - we like cheap and strong. We always stay near to the RLD (yes, we have fun there too!) and we're lazy sods who don't want to travel far.
So to put it all succinctly, here's my questions.
Where can I go that:-
A. sells fairly good quality, cheap but strong bud (we like white widow/northern lights but are open to suggestions!)
B. is not more than a few minutes walk from the RLD
c. gives a discount for larger purchases
I'd be most grateful for suggestions and I'm sure I'll be asking lots more questions!
Thanks,
Spliffysmurf xxx

I don't venture near the red light area, but I really like Bluebird, but I don't think they have bulk discounts as their bags are pre-weighed. I've heard the Fisherman's Friend at Prix D'Ami can pack quite a punch. If your'e concerned about bang for your buck you can get a slight discount at Grey Area, but it seems like they've raised prices. Maybe take a trip to Willie Wortel's and stock up for your trip. Trefpunt appears to offer good prices, but again, it's not near the RLD. Check out some travelogues and see what you come up with. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for these Geoff, I've looked at the Smoker's guide before through a link on ACD. The Fly By Nite menu pics page is brilliant, a really good idea. Perhaps worthy of a similar thing here on ACD? I'll endeavour to take as many menu pics as I can to add to the site.geoffk wrote: Fly By Nite's menus: http://192.148.252.25/~reatta/menus.html

Thanks for the welcome and suggestion, Tall Guy. This one sounds worth a look. We don't know it, except through the reviews on here - we're surprisingly insular when we stay in the 'Dam and tend to stick to the first C/S we like. Unfortunately our fave place was shut down last year.Tall Guy wrote:Hi and welcome SS, you could do worse than the 420 cafe (de Kuil) for 5g deals on Widow, down the small alley across Damrak from the Grasshopper. You probably know this place already though...
Thanks weemanio - definitely on our list of "must tries" now!Weemanio wrote:central, across from central station.
Thanks woob - as far as I've researched so far, these two seem a bit pricier than others, but we'll certainly have a look.Woob wrote:I would say that dampkring and greenhouse prices are usually competitive..Maybe they`ll have what u want
Thanks for this DC. What on earth is a Tuc Tuc??!DC wrote:Get a Tuc Tuc and the centrum is your oyster, fits 2 lazy sods easily.
Thanks Sh@dy, this one keeps coming up as a good 'un - we may have to get off our bottoms and take a tram ride after all.sh@dy wrote:go to "Trefpunt", even if you have to walk a bit out of the center. only heard good things about their white whidow and everything else they have.

I'm getting very confused (again!) with this Trefpunt - having googled it I've come up with several different possible locations (not unusual for Amsterdam, so we've found!). The majority of the info places it at the junction of Witte de Withstraat and Postjesweg. Would this be the one, or is there more than one Trefpunt??!!
