I also cross-over the cup dates. I should be in A'dam 21-25 November, the same dates for the past 4 years.

I say 'should'. The flights/hotel are booked but I am now having an operation to repair a meniscal tear early that month and may have to take my crutches, which won't be fun with the stairs and cobbles! Hate to miss the trip though

Hi guys I'll arrive frm the east enroute to Germany on Nov 18, so i got a few hours to kill, might visit the High Life Cannabis Cup on this day and also I'll be back again on Nov 22 the last day of the CUP and on the return leg i have 3 days in A'dam, but the downside is i'm afraid on the last day.. not much of sample are left, so I wanted to visit on both days.

I will be there from the morning on Nov 18 till about lunch time and on Nov 22 full day. Anyone visiting on same dates place your name here, we can form ACD team )

My suggestion is we meet just outside of Central Coffeeshop near the Central Station and we can all go from there

just though i would clear something up tho, its the HIGHTIMES Cannabis Cup .. not the highlife... both are much different

hope you have a good time! and i wouldnt stress the fact that on the last day there wont be much left... cause there still will be plenty!! it may not be the cup entry.. but there will be tons of herb around still

i dont want you ppl thinking im a hater but this festival is fun for the first timer in holland and dont know whats realy about.it all about ripping ppl off! 200euro for judges pass=rip off some shop put prices up other one go down but most big shops put price up like dampking... let me tell you small short story! easter of this year on the sunday in walk in barney s menu is on counter im looking at it guy turn around says sorry takes menu away and put other one so i ask what the deal why you changed the menu and on this one prices are diff! you know what i got kick out of barneys the fucker have 2(3) diff menu whit diff prices
and they are rude (oh very nice ppl during Cup so they cant win favr SC)
prices 2-3 euro more for the weed and the rubble was 70euro

its no a place to go on holydays x-mas easter new years and festival like CC and others. low season the best time your sure not seing what iv seen some ppl do to rip off the tourists!

I respect your views adamster.. just that ppl like me had diff background and came from a place where the herb is a taboo thing so, imagine being able to be part of the holy pilgrimage for the holy plant.. it's something just as MasterCard said it.. priceless. IMHO, nobody had any obligation to purchase anything at the CUP,just be part of the atmosphere within.

Thank you Cheese for the tip. I got a question though, when we purcahse the pass at the door, is it good for the day only or is it good for the whole period of the cup? What benefits does the pass include besides the admission.. can we cast our vote for the top herb? Any info/advice is appreciated from those who had attended before...

is it possible to buy the cup-entrys even without a cup-pass? i mean most of the shops have their entries in the shop right?

i dont think they still sell pass at door for the whole even on the cup! if so its good for the weed expo and milkyway(concert hall if it still there) they give out weed at 420 each day at the expo(if they still go it) yeah your you can vote for best CS best WEED and i dont remember if you get vote for HASH!

i got away the first time buying all weed for for less then 400euro(my whole week food weed and drinks) second year i smoke all the hashs and 1/2 of the weed and i didnt spend more then 600euros in whole week my friends all went nut spending 2000+euros an at the end of the week they had to leave some behind wast of money!

if you not sure if you want full gram of something ask if you can get 1/2gram in some SC they will let you buy 1/2!

have fun! smoke the jelly even if it 50+euros
i say best way to smoke it is like CRACK so it dont go vanashing in the pipe you put abit of smoke hashes you melt it then let it cool down then toke away!!

Me and my girlfreind will be there on the 16th to the 19th (fly back in the morning), So atleast we'll you the opening day on the sunday! I just hope that on the friday/saturday the coffeeshops participating dont keep all the good stuff locked away to the cup starts.

anyone up for a central coffeeeshop for a smoke crawl round the city 16-22 nov......start central and float where-ever our lungs n feet take us?

I would be up for it, but, seeing as i aint smoked for years a coffee shop crawl would definatly be a bad idea for me haha
