Although this is a massively popular cs I thought I'd chip into this thread, because despite its popularity with tourists - me included, of course! - the quality of its weed has been consistently great, at least in my experience. It's also not bad to chill out in, but I don't know how the smoking ban / no booze and weed from the same place rules will have affected it. Must check it out this weekend... :)

I just get take away if i visit as its always busy unless your there at opening time.
There is a toy shop round the corner my wife always goes in for the kids prezzies, so i always pop in and grab a few bags. I cant say i have a fav here as it always seems to be good shit no matter what i buy although last trip i purchased the sage and sour (i think) and did not like it one bit.
Good place but dont expect a seat and there is always a Q. :D

I visited Dampring on my 3rd trip which was last November, I have to say Dampring has the most impressive Menu and dealing counter, the counter itself is long so quite a few people ponder and discuss what smoke they want. I got some Cheese at 11E 1g, was the best smoke i had for the whole trip, im going Monday morning for my 6th visit to good ol' Dam and Dampring is one place i will defiently go 2 and sample more that the Cheese from their massive menu

If your just going for the Cheese again , the ''massive menu'' don't really matter does it.
Here's a wacky thought , Why don't you be a right mad man and maybe try something else as well.

Cheers Soulrider, lol, i will sample more than the cheese. I was just trying to tell people that for a menu, this cs has the full works, which means u have a wide choice, which means its probably worth going there. Just thought i would inform people that i thought their cheese was good. Isnt that what this site is for Moby??? and that is a waste name... Moby lol

Got you now mate . just the way I read it I think.
Most people know about the Dampring though , the amount of pages the thread has gives me that impression anyway.

ps

What's a ''waste name'' ?

Only yesterday the owner of Dampkring shoved a bunch of cash in our hands to support Cannabis Freedom in Amsterdam on May 9th. Here is a shop that gives a shit and contributes to the cause. They are one of the few shops in Amsterdam that have their own backroom grows and really do care about the quality of weed on the menu. I heard thru the grapevine there are several new and fun strains coming to the Dampkring menu soon.

Unless You live there , You are a tourist .
And unless the shop in question is only serving Dutch exclusively, the shop is touristy.
Not all shops frequented by tourists are bad .
