Alright this could be fun. I think we could all get some laughs(or hear some horror stories) if the members would post memories about the first time they got high. Here are my recollections: It was September 9,1976, I was 14 years old,and a beautiful evening in Minnesota. My brother was having his 16th birthday party and my parents had bought him a keg of beer for his birthday present( he later became a full blown alcoholic..any connection?) And a friend of his had also given him a fat ounce of killer Columbian Gold for a gift. Well after 5-6 beers we all climbed into a 1968 Mustang,parked it in the backyard and pulled out a nice bamboo bong,and proceeded to smoke 3-4 big bowls of the Gold.Well I will tell you I completely forgot anyone else was with me and cranked up the car stereo to the Eagles playing "Victim of love" (first song I would hear stoned) I remember just jamming until my brother slapped me on the side of the head saying"Stop that stupid shit". It seems I must have thought I was in the band playing the drums using the dash of the mustang as my drum kit and was staring to put small dents in it. Well I came around, climbed out of the car grabbed another beer and had yet another big bowl of the gold passed around. Needless to say that is about all I remember of that night,and found myself waking up in the backyard with the sun just coming up. From that night until now I having been having a torrid love affair with "Mary" and will never leave her!

I fuzzily remember my first time well- Dec. 25, 1971. I was 13 and my brother (then 18) was going out with his friends. My parents insisted that he take me along, it being Christmas night and all. What a happy mistake! So I sat in the circle and took what was passed to me, then we all went to see Frank Zappa's "200 Motels". All a boy could say was "Wow..."

Mine was at a pajama party I had with 20 gorgous teen girls and one all of a sudden whips out the weed. We all look nervous but said hey everyone is trying it, why not us so we proceeded to smoke it and the next thing I know a giant pillow fight broke out followed by what I would say was the munchies of everything we had available at the party.. what a blast it was!

Fall 1959, was 14 and had run away from home ( again )
Was trying to hitch hike to California.
Two gay guys picked me up, gave me a ride of over 100 miles, and then invited me to have dinner at their house. They wern't hitting on me, just being kind.
After dinner they rolled some j's of Panama Red mixed with some Thai stick and turned me on.
I got real talkative and philosophical for awhile, talking about the beat's, Viet Nam and Buddism.
Then got real silly and found every thing real funny. Laughed until my sides hurt.
Slept on their couch, woke up the day, got another ride from them to the highway and was off again.
All in all a very interesting time.

i was about 14, and went out with a few friends skateboarding and stuff. Went behind some old factory and they proceeded to build a waterbucket out of 2 empty bottles, tin foil etc... had some of that and felt a bit stoned, but mainly felt the coolest person ever ha ha

Cant really remember the first time i had proper weed, was probably with my sister though!

december 1989 was first time i smoke and it was hash the hash here at the time was 45 for 1/4oz(wish it was still that now like 110-120)i was rolling smoke for my dad that day³(whit a machine)and in the tobaco can i saw some silver paper(i was hmm whats this?)so i left it there pretended i didnt see it so the same night my friend comes over and i tell him about this and i show him hes like i dont know what it is³we was only 13 and stupid)im like i think we smoke it in the pipe my dad had few pipes so we ran outside whit a pipe(1-2am)and got very high that night
and got shit for taking the hash to this day i still tell him wasnt us

i know it was with my older brother as he was a hippy & was takin LSD and other substances & as it was my duty being the young brat i would allways see the oppurtunity to extract something off him,ie; ciggys,alchohol,&marijuana for not telling our mother or dad that big bro was in his bed still because he was tripping all night or whatever& thats the reason he,s sayin he,s not too well ,jeeze i was a real little brat at times but hey i got the crap kicked out of me on a daily basis ,so as they say paybacks a bitch
so in answer to your question ,i dont know my 1st time but i bet i turned a bit pasty before big bro found out what i took then proceeded to beat the crap out of me then i turned a bit lumpy & bruisey

then repeat...........................................& here i am now

Summer-ish, circa 1995 - was 12... had been around people smoking hash for a few years, it's always been cool in my parents house, providing you don't stink the place out (open a window, keep it in yer bedroom etc), my older bro and his mates had been smoking hash in front of me for a couple years... anyways, long story short... it was mostly hash they smoked, but one day they picked up a few bags of shrubbery and I talked them into letting me get a wee smoke... they eventually let up and passed me a couple of joints, what was quite so funny is still unclear but i was on the deck, grabbing my sides in hilarious agony as i had been laughing for a straight ten-fifteen minutes on the floor behind the couch... my folks were coming home that day and my bro forced me to go for a shower and sober up or he'd get his balls booted for getting his wee brother stoned

I must have been about 14 and in one of the fields next to my high school. I wouldn't say I was totally baked, but toasted enough. English Lit was interesting that afternoon...

Just kidding. Have been smoking for 40+ so 12 doesn't seem like a whole lot.

1989. bought some from a friend, just cos he had some. He rolled me 4 joints from a quarter using about 2 grams. Of course after smokin these..with no effect, I decided to put the rest into 2 slugs. Slugs is a better word than joint considerin they were fat in the middle and pointy at both ends...roach? um nope. Anyway, I gave 1 to me mates and I smoked the other one. Everything was cool when the taxi arrived, but by the time I was just walking into the 'nightclub' bar...it all kicked in. Spent the next 4 hours out on the back stairs doin me best not to fall through the thin ice I was skating over, under which...unexperienced to me at that time, was the mother of all whities. Luckily enough I survived the mother of all whities on that occassion. Didn't smoke again until a couple of years later when I was using it to smooth out the weekend 'comedown'...pretty much haven't stopped since.
