My memory is a little fuzzy about certain aspects, I didn’t really keep note of prices per gm’s, sorry about that.
Arrived 16/09/07 for a three night stay, I had already been twice in 2007 but this was the trip I had been looking forward to the most because I was taking my nephew (swampy) along for his first trip. He’s 18 years old and has been gong on to me for the last 2 years to take him to De Dam to show him the coffeeshops. I promised him a trip as soon as he was 18 and able to prove his age in the coffeeshops. We arrived on a Sunday 3p.m, stepped out of central station and took in the view. We strolled over to Nieuwmarkt and entered the albert heijn. We bought some essentials for the apartment and a couple of strippen kart’s (15 strip) for I think 6.70 Eur. Checked in to the apartment and made our way to greenhouse centrum. I got two coffee’s and showed swampy the menu, he really couldn’t take it in. Here he was about to make his first ever purchase. I explained to the guy who was serving the significance of the trip, he pulled out 4 tubs and said, in his opinion, this was the best they had in right now. Swampy loved the look and smell of the diesel, he got 2 gm’s, I got 2gm’s the Arjans haze #1. I haven’t been in this place in a good while due to poor service and poor product (IMO), but fairplay, they let us have a good look and were very accommodating. Swampy was overjoyed he wasn’t asked for I.D, I told him to wait until he’s older, he'll be glad to be asked for I.D. We rolled a few, drank our coffee’s and got stoned. The diesel was beautiful and packed a head punch, excellent first ever choice. The Arjan’s Haze was good, a proper piney haze, lovely smell with that talkative high. We swapped joints, talked and laughed. We made a move for some food and then on to hunters. 2gm’s of Lavender for swampy and 2gms of kush for me. Surprisingly there were a few Kush’s on the menu, I can’t remember which I got, but I know I liked it that much I got another 2gm’s before we headed to stones café for a few beers. The Kush was very good and got me unbelievably stoned, swampy didn’t think that much of the lavender, but he was comparing it to the diesel he previously got at greenhouse which was very good. We sat in stones and had a few beers with our smoke, I like the stones café, it has a bit of everything. Then back to the greenhouse for some king hassan hash. We made our way around the red light district, swampy’s eyes wide open, digesting it all. It’s a great pleasure taking a first timer around the wallen. We headed to the red light bar and got a window seat, we smoked our wares and watched the windows opposite. We had a few games of pool and played doubles against these swiss guys who were out of this world at pool. They were doing doubles and trick shots that you wouldn’t believe. We swapped joints, drank beer and had a great time. This place is just wonderful for a first timer. You can buy a beer, smoke your grass and watch the girls ply their trade, Swampy loved it. We bought the swiss guys a beer, we then headed for the apartment, put some music on and smoked some King Hassan till late.
