Review: Grass City vs. Everyone Does It headshops

a review of two shops as I can't get uh...stuff near me.

I placed orders, within an hour of each other, on a friday night to two different online headshops:

everyonedoesit.co.uk
and
grasscity.com

both had a few items I wanted that the other did not. as a point per point comparision:

1) ease of use and sale. I found grasscity.com to be a bit easier to navigate. both were good about immediate notification/updates on out of stock items on their site. everyonedoesit had an issue where some of my items would vanish out of my cart and I'd have to re-add them. Both processed my credit card quickly and easily.

2) email notifications. both companies sent order confirmations within an hour. both sent shipping confirmations with accurate info. everyonedoesit seemed to process the credit card and confirm the order a day earlier.

3) shipping. i risked standard mail shipping on both due to cost and wanting the packages to be inconspicuous. both were cost effective methods of shipping. grasscity took an extra two days to ship, but there was no problem with the order in the mean time.

4) arrival. both packages arrived the same day, nearly 10 days exactly from the date of order. both were well packed. items - even glass - were carefully handled. both were discrete and even the grasscity.com order was not from the netherlands, causing less attention to be drawn to it. both orders were complete. I got an extra set of screens from grasscity and everyonedoesit sent a funky glow in the dark wristband. I've never been a raver and i'd rather more screens but the thought is nice. ;)

I'd rate both sites equally at this point and was very impressed with service from both.

i use edit all the time..

one of the best retailers for roor products other than the actual roor store in adam

I've used EDIT a fair few times and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Always a speedy despatch, glass items packed well. Never had anything go wrong, even order my papers and tips from them - cheaper and easier than going to the local head shop.

I've used EDIT a few times and found their service to be very good. I'd never have tried spice if it wasn't for them...
