Hello

I'm a Dutch Guy living and grown up in Germany so i don't even speak Dutch Language

I know this Forum since some Month but was only reading 'til now.
On thursday the 11.10. i want to go to our all favourite place with an old friend but suddenly a problem appeared.The German Traindrivers want more Money (they want 31% more Money!!!) so they decided not to work on Thursday to make pressure.I don't know the English word for it but in Germany it's called "Streik".
Our Train on Thursday morning should go at 6:53 and there is no way to get to know if the Train will go or not until then!That is s**t!!!
Anyways,if we make it to Amsterdam i will make a detailed Trip Report.

Welcome PP. The english word you are looking for is "strike" very similar, eh. Looking forward to your reports.

To our Luck the Traindrivers decided today not to go on strike(thx geoffk)tomorrow

We will start at 6:53 and arrive at 15:01 and nothing will stop us anymore!Perhaps i send some Live Report from some Coffeeshop with Internet access if i can... You know what i mean

Strike action on anything is a real pain, we had no mail for the last week or so because of a mail strike here, but transport strikes are far worse... I feel for ya dude!
